Our Helder holiday home is located in Dorum-Neufeld, between Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven. We offer an unforgettable and comfortable holiday for 4 (max. 6) people, plus a toddler in a fold-out bed, right on one of Germany’s most beautiful North Sea coastlines for you and your family. The “Helder” holiday home features a nautical theme and is very cosily furnished, so you’ll feel right at home there no matter the season. You’ll find everything you need for the best days or weeks of the year. Look forward to a wonderful holiday in our approximately 83-square-meter Superior holiday home.
It’s a wonderful place to relax... The nature-filled setting invites you to take walks and bike rides along the dike or enjoy beautiful mudflat hikes.

The excitement is immense—maybe it’s just 3 days, or perhaps 3 weeks—it doesn’t matter at all. The most important thing is that you can relax here with us on the North Sea coast and unwind.
Holiday time is precious! In our “Helder” holiday home, you can enjoy your getaway by the North Sea.
Located just about 400 m from the beach, on a quiet side street yet still centrally located, it’s suitable for 4 (max. 6) people, and with about 83 m² of space, everyone will find their favourite spot. The living area offers direct access to the garden and the patio. On the ground floor, you’ll find the living room with the dining area right next to the kitchen. Upstairs, there’s a cosy couch area with a TV that converts into a sleeper sofa.
Children and pets are welcome here, and you can park right in front of the house

Dorum-Neufeld and the surrounding area
Dorum-Neufeld is located close to the North Sea coast—a small town with a long tradition of fishing. When the crab boats come into the small fishing harbour, you can buy freshly caught North Sea crabs. A recreational and leisure trail featuring an adventure playground and exercise equipment stretches from the fishing harbour to the Obereversand Lighthouse.
The “Museum of Wadden Sea Fishing” and the “National Park House” in Dorum-Neufeld provide information about the history of the Wurster Land region. The quirky Shell Museum is also worth a visit. Interesting lighthouses, old windmills, and fortified churches can be found in many towns. In Bremerhaven, which is easily accessible by bike, the “Zoo am Meer” and the harbour facilities (harbour tour) are worth a visit. Also worth seeing are the “Emigration Centre” and the “Climate House”—a journey of discovery through the Earth’s climate zones. For pure relaxation with wellness and sauna facilities, head to the “Moortherme” in Bad Bederkesa or the “Erlebnisbad Ahoi” in Cuxhaven. In the summer, the child-friendly Sieverner See offers an alternative to swimming in the sea. In Dorum-Neufeld, a modern mini-golf course provides plenty of fun, and in the evenings, the “Theatre Bremerhaven” offers an interesting cultural programme.
