Want to spend your holiday in a secluded spot on an alpine pasture? And at the same time be surrounded by animals and help with the hay harvest?
Then you’re warmly welcome at our Almhaus Völkl in the Metznitztal wilderness region!
At 1,160 metres above sea level, we offer two accommodation (100 m² and 88 m²) with separate entrances for two families or a group of up to 8 people.
But you won’t be all alone here at Almhaus Völkl: a flock of sheep, donkeys, and ponies graze in the meadows surrounding our alpine lodge.
There are various ways to spend your holiday with us.
In summer: Hiking on the Flattnitz to the Hochrindl-Nockberge
In winter: Enjoy winter sports in the nearby ski areas of Flattnitz and Grebenzen Nature Park

Elisabeth Holiday Apartment:

1 bedroom with a comfortable double bed and a sofa bed for additional guests.
1 additional bedroom with another double bed, perfect for restful nights.
A fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove (including an oven), a traditional wood-burning stove, a refrigerator and freezer, a dishwasher, and all necessary dishes.
A bathroom for refreshing showers after a day in nature, as well as a separate toilet. One towel per person is provided free of charge; please bring any additional towels yourself.
An infrared sauna that accommodates two people and creates a relaxing atmosphere for rest and rejuvenation.
A spacious terrace where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and the magnificent view.
