Luxury Cabin with Private Beach
This family cabin is now available for rent during select time periods. Far from busy roads and right on the ocean, nothing but peaceful tranquility reigns here. Take walks, swim at your own beach, and barbecue to your heart’s content.
The house was built in 2020. It features all the modern amenities you’ll need in a cabin on an island accessible only by ferry. Installed Wi-Fi with a fiber-optic connection, an espresso machine, a TV (connect your Netflix), a washing machine/dryer, etc. The drinking water comes from our well and varies in quality throughout the year, but it’s always safe to drink. Bottled water can be purchased at the store.
Getting there is easy. (Free) car ferries run nearly every 30 minutes from the centuries-old fishing village of Öregrund. The ferry ride takes 5 minutes. In the summer, you’ll find some fantastic waterfront restaurants in Öregrund. The trip from central Stockholm to the ferry takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes (30 minutes less from Arlanda Airport). The trip from the ferry to the island takes another 7 minutes.
