Everything about this house made for a perfect vacation. Everything was clean and plenty of room for a large family. The kitchen has everything you need. We loved the walk to the beach it is so easy and convenient.

The big problem was the reclamation project prevented us from engorging being on the beach -any possibility of getting some refund because of their reclamation project?

Thanks for being a multi-year returning guest.  We are so sorry the beach renourishment project was an issue. We were assured by the  Wild Dunes Community Association that the work crews would move each day by ~300 feet and that no beach access would be blocked more than one day.  The entire project should be done shortly and last for many years. While we have plenty of beach, the project will provide more beach for many neighbors who need it.  We apologize that the beach was blocked.

Amazing Vacation Home

I would highly recommend this home for your next vacation!! It was very clean, had everything you could possibly need and was so spacious!! The owner was so nice and very easy to work with. The resort itself has so much to offer. We will definitely stay here again!!

Annual family beach trip

This was our sixth year at the house, and we enjoy it more each time we come. It is perfect for our large family of sixteen. There are plenty of bedrooms, and we could all sit around the large dining room table for meals. It is also close enough to the beach that you can run up if you need a break from the sand and salt water.

Wonderful family vacation!

Well situated to the beach as well as grocery stores. Lots of room for the family. The stairs were difficult for the older folks but the young ones were not disturbed by it at all. I would definitely recommend this home!

Beautiful beach sunrises!

We had a huge group stay here for our wedding and we loved it! It was gorgeous and so perfect to relax after our big day. Plenty of bathrooms, space, and we hung out on the decks most of the time spent here! Lauren was awesome, too. She was easy to get ahold of and really made our stay seamless. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location at the beach

We enjoyed our stay, and there was more than enough space for everyone. The kitchen/living/dining was perfect for our group to hang out together. The beach is very close and beautiful! The location is about 35 min. from downtown Charleston. There is plenty of shopping on Isle of Palms and also in Mt Pleasant.

Wonderful Wild Dunes Retreat

What a great place to stay! Lauren the owner was wonderful to work with! We had a total of 19 people stay in the house and had room for more. Could ask for a better location, easy walk to the beach. Kids rode bikes throughout the complex. Would rent this property again!

Wonderful Isle of Palms vacation in large Wild Dunes Home

The home we rented was delightful for our large family! It was so clean, attractive, comfortable, and roomy. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining room table, chairs, and bar stools seated all of us. We loved being so close to the beach. It was definitely our best beach vacation! Would love to go again!

Perfect beach house!

Everything was perfect! The house was close to beach. All of us had our own rooms. The kitchen was fully stocked. We enjoyed the decks, ping pong table, all the details that made our stay so pleasant. We would definitely rent this house again!

Family Gathering

Clean, good-sized property for our group of 15. Steps from the beach and an easy shuttle ride to the Wild Dunes pools. Easy drive to local restaurants and Charleston. Owner was readily accessible via email leading up to and during our stay. We would definitely return.

The owner of "Summer Dunes Lane 1" and Wild dunes are the best!!!! They met and surpassed our every need! I HIGHLY recommend this home!!!! This is a great place for a large get together. :-)

This is the fourth time my family has stayed at 1Summer Lane. They have made great upgrades to this home over the past 8 years. It is well stocked for large groups and the location is perfect. I would recommend this home especially if traveling with multi family.

Wonderful home for a large family and loved the porch and ocean views. We loved it!

We were so happy the whole week. Lots of stairs which gave us more exercise which was good but sometimes it would of been great to get things up to the 3rd floor with the elevator. Plenty of room for a large group.
