Hello there, it’s me—an old house in a quiet, secluded location at 1,250 metres above sea level, surrounded by woods and nature. Here you’ll find peace and quiet, but if you’d like, you can drive just a few minutes to the chairlifts and gondolas on the Turracher Höhe, or to the walking trails around Lake Turracher See.
When you head back down, the thermal baths and the golf course in Bad Kleinkirchheim await you.
I’d prefer it if you stayed with me and took care of yourselves.
There’s something important I need to tell you. Throughout the entire year, only 20–30 couples, families, or groups of friends will spend time with me. You’re part of a small, special group of holidaymakers. Between you and me: My owner didn’t want to let me have any more guests. I’m not exactly sure why. I think it has to do with my cleaning. But I don’t like being alone and empty, so I said to my owner, “Alfred, how about letting my guests clean me themselves—when they arrive and before they leave?” “The guests will never go along with that,” was Alfred’s reply. “Who wants to clean when they just arrived?” Alfred had come up with many more arguments against my suggestion. But I remained persistent. My main argument was: “If each of my guests cleans me up before they leave, the next guest will have a clean cabin.” That way, no one who arrives has to clean like crazy; they just need to pitch in a little—or a lot—depending on their personal needs.
Alfred remained skeptical. “But what if you set the price so low that it’s a great deal for my guests?” ” I told Alfred, “Let’s give it a try!” Alfred finally agreed on the following condition: “If your guests are unhappy afterwards, we’ll stop the experiment immediately.”
So, my dear future guest, I’m looking forward to welcoming you, your family, and your friends. But please promise me now—before you submit your booking—that you know what you’re getting into. The worst thing for me would be if you ended up disappointed. I’m quite sensitive about that.

Cosy, modern kitchen on the upper floor. Very well-equipped with a dishwasher, oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, and everything your heart desires.
4 bedrooms with double beds, 3 of them upstairs, 1 on the ground floor. 
One bathroom with a tub/shower, sink, and toilet upstairs; a shower, toilet, sink, and washing machine in the basement.
Spacious entryway with a wooden bench.
Cosy living room with a TV, a wood-burning stove for that authentic cabin feel, a capsule coffee maker, a refrigerator, and a couch.
Wi-Fi is also available in the cabin.
Cleaning supplies (detergent, dishwasher tablets, pot cleaner, etc.), vacuum cleaner, clothes rack, ironing board, and iron are provided.
Grill and table with bench on the lawn in front of the Nockstern Hut.
Parking directly in front of the cabin.



On-site fees: Pets allowed, non-smoking cabin, free Wi-Fi for guests, wood for the wood-burning stove in the living room included, free parking in front of the cabin. Hot and cold running water is available. Drinking water can be purchased at the nearest store (4 min by car).



Check-in is from 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and check-out is from 12:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
