About this property
Ferienhaus Penzlin OT Krukow
The 140 square metre holiday home for a maximum of 10 people is situated on a 7,500 square metre, separate and completely fenced leisure property in a secluded location away from the village directly on Lake Mallin, a natural body of water (not a bathing lake). Here you are completely undisturbed in the midst of beautiful surroundings on the edge of a nature reserve. Watch white-tailed eagles and native wildlife directly from the property. The small town of Penzlin is approx. 3 km away and the district town of Neubrandenburg approx. 8 km. The two-storey holiday home is furnished in a rustic and functional style. On the ground floor there is a large living room (upholstered furniture, sofa bed, TV, hi-fi system, dining area, fireplace), kitchen (gas cooker with oven, wood cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, dining table, various kitchen utensils). (kitchen utensils), 1 bedroom (1 x single bed, passage to the bathroom) and a bathroom with bathtub, bidet and washing machine. On the upper floor there are two further bedrooms (1 x double bed and 2 single beds, 1 x double bed, width: 1.40 m and 1 single bed). A cot (travel cot) and a high chair are available for small children. Internet (W-LAN) is also available. Outside there is a furnished terrace, a barbecue, sun loungers, a storage room for bicycles and a car park. In addition, extensive hunting opportunities for the area of the Neubrandenburg forestry office can be easily viewed via the owner. For this purpose, there is a gun cabinet in the house, which can also be used as a safe for valuables. By prior arrangement, you can also arrive with your own horse (free to roam in the meadow). The final cleaning as well as water and energy consumption are included in the total price. You can bring your own bed linen or hire it on site. You must bring your own towels. The initial supply of firewood is free of charge, thereafter for a fee.
Krukow is a small town between the district town of Neubrandenburg (8 km) and the small town of Penzlin (3 km) in the centre of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The Penzlin town lake and Lake Tollensesee (M-V's sixth largest lake) with good bathing opportunities are approx. 3 km away. As the district town of the Mecklenburg Lake District, the four-gate town of Neubrandenburg offers numerous shopping opportunities of all kinds, restaurants, cafés and pubs as well as many cultural facilities and events. Particular attractions here include the borders of Mecklenburg; a concert church and the famous Marienkirche with its new organ; home to the Neubrandenburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the theatre and the Neubrandenburg art collection. Tourist highlights include the historic town wall with its four medieval gates and Lake Tollensesee, which borders directly on the town, with several bathing opportunities, boat hire and passenger boat trips. Cycling around the lake (approx. 45 km) is not the only popular tour; the entire area around Neubrandenburg, which is rich in forests and lakes, also invites active holidaymakers to go on extended tours. The city is easy to reach by train from Berlin; the nearest motorway junction is approx. 13 km away. The most famous landmark and also the biggest attraction of the small town of Penzlin is the medieval castle complex. In addition to a museum on the subject of torture and the persecution of witches, it also includes a herb garden, a black kitchen where children's cookery courses are offered and a witches' playground for the little ones. The castle also hosts numerous medieval events that are known far beyond the town's borders. Other sights in Penzlin include the Slavic castle ramparts and St Mary's Church. The Penzlin town lake is a centre of attraction for anglers and water sports enthusiasts. In addition to natural beaches, there is also a developed bathing area with sports and play areas. There are restaurants and shopping facilities in the town.
