The "Bergblick" holiday rental is located on the ground floor of the house. The centrepiece is the small kitchen-dining area, cosily furnished in the style of the historic house. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. The separate bedroom features a double bed, ensuring peaceful and restful nights. We always provide made-up beds and towels. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, a toilet, a towel warmer, and a hair dryer.



Our house was built in 1671. The exterior walls of the ground floor are made of fieldstone and are up to 70 cm thick. Above them is a rich Baroque half-timbered structure made of oak. The ceiling heights in the rooms are generous even by today’s standards. The house underwent a complete renovation from 2012 to 2016. We placed great emphasis on high environmental standards and used the original building materials—wood, clay, and lime. Space heating and hot water are provided by a wood pellet heating system. The result is two highly comfortable holiday apartments: the “Bergblick” apartment on the ground floor with one bedroom (sleeps up to 2 people) and the “Moseltal” apartment on the upper floor with two bedrooms (sleeps up to 4 people). If you need more space, both holiday apartments in the house can be rented together to create one large holiday home with a maximum of 6 beds (3 bedrooms). A variety of hiking and biking trails run right past the house. For your daily needs (groceries), you’ll find everything in the neighbouring town of Treis-Karden—easily accessible by bike or car. The local bakery is just a few minutes’ walk away. Enjoy sightseeing tours and day trips to Cochem and Koblenz during a boat cruise on the Moselle; the dock is located right on the banks of the Moselle. Our home, lovingly furnished, awaits its guests.
