Get ready for an adventure at this remote off-grid home. The space features two queen beds, two twin beds, and a large futon in the living room, perfect for groups or families. Close to Alamo Lake, the AZ Peace Trail and Maggie Canyon. The property features Bortle 2 skies, hiking trails, rock hounding, a old mining ghost town. There is a small farm with gardens, goats and chickens which provide farm to table food. Learn what off-grid remote living is all about. We can provide services ranging from hiking tours, meditation, kayaking, off-grid skills, and historical property tours of the ghost town. A portion of the proceeds goes towards our non-profit which provides retreats and spiritual direction for veterans and trauma survivors. Additional amenities are available if you have a large group.

Hi! My name is Jen. I am an Arizona native. I have a PhD in Spiritual Direction and purchased this property as a place to work with veterans and trauma survivors. I love living remote with my goats, chickens, gardens and my dog Willow. Off-grid skills, permaculture, and desert living are my life!

What makes this property unique
This guest house is the only place to stay adjacent to Alamo Lake. the Arizona Peace Trail runs right past. There is incredible fishing, hiking, and outdoor sports. We have Bortle 2 dark night skies perfect for astrophotography. Migratory bird watching at Alamo Lake is incredible! The old mine, artifacts and amazing 5000 history add to the charm and mystery of this property. We operate a small farm that provides farm to table meals for guests. Historical tours are available. See what it is like to live truly off the grid. You can't see and do everything in one day!
