The fully equipped kitchen features a dishwasher, oven with hob, coffee maker, electric kettle, and much more. In the separate bedroom, you can start your day with the first rays of sunlight. Furnished with a double bed, a flexible single bed, or alternatively a cot, our holiday rental accommodates 3–4 people. The modern bathroom is equipped with a wheelchair-accessible shower, toilet, and changing table. Outside, a lovingly designed terrace in an idyllic, peaceful setting with sweeping views invites you to linger, and an adjacent lawn is perfect for sunbathing. Nestled in nature and surrounded by lush mountain meadows, you’ll experience the Rhön in all its uniqueness here with us. You can round off the evening by the fire pit while enjoying a magnificent sunset. We’ve got everything the little ones could want, too. A spacious playground with climbing structures, play towers featuring a suspension bridge, a swing, and a slide, a sandpit with sand toys, a Bobby Car, and much more is waiting to be explored. The municipal visitor’s tax must be paid in cash on site. Towels and bed linens are included in the price. Located above the town of Gersfeld (Rhön), on the southern slope of the Wasserkuppe, with a breathtaking 360-degree view of the valley basin of the Rhön’s “secret capital” and its surrounding mountains, lies our newly built (as of April 2024) holiday rental (65 square metres), BergPanorama Rhön. The nearest town, Gersfeld (Rhön), is just 1.5 km away, where you’ll find supermarkets, small shops selling stationery and household goods, electronics, building supplies, and gifts, as well as typical Rhön accessories to browse. The dining scene in and around Gersfeld also has something for everyone. Restaurants serving everything from home-style to fine dining, Italian delicacies and a wide variety of ice cream, Greek specialities, and much more invite you to indulge. There are numerous excursion destinations in the surrounding area, for example, a walk along the adjacent hiking trail to Hesse’s highest mountain—the Wasserkuppe—or the Guckaisee (swimming lake) below it, the Kaskadenschlucht gorge, the Rhön moors, or the Kreuzberg Franciscan Monastery. Right in Gersfeld, the wildlife park and the outdoor pool are also great places to visit, and the Baroque city of Fulda, about 25 km away, is perfect for a leisurely stroll—to name just a few destinations.
