Landing late, leaving on an early flight, or missing the night ferry to Freetown? We are on the Lungi side, near the New Airport Gate on the New Port Loko Road in Kasongha, about 2.8 km (6 minutes by car) from the terminal. The main airport gate is about a 2-minute walk. We are behind the taxi park and next to the Abima fuel station.
Rooms: 11 rooms with free Wi-Fi and generator backup. Seven rooms have a king bed with private bathroom, one family room has two double beds with private bathroom, and three budget rooms have a queen bed and use a shared bathroom. Electric kettles are in the rooms, and all guests can use a free self-service guest kitchen.
Service: reception is open 24 hours, because flights do not keep office hours. An airport shuttle (NLe 500, about US$20 per vehicle) and optional breakfast (US$10 per person) are available on request. Check-in and check-out are at 11:00.
Neighbourhood: Kasongha is the neighbourhood by the New Airport Gate. Taxis and fuel are close by. The ferry to Freetown does not run through the night, so staying on the Lungi side is the easiest way to handle a late arrival or an early flight.
