Enjoy a relaxing getaway at the tranquil Schottenhof, named after the impressive Scottish Highland cattle that call this place home. Your modern accommodation is idyllically situated in Achberg in the Württemberg Allgäu—the perfect starting point for a varied holiday in the Allgäu and around Lake Constance. Explore the historic towns with their unique shops, go hiking through the picturesque landscape with rolling hills and views of the Alps, or relax at nearby Lake Constance.

The holiday apartment, which was renovated to a high standard in 2024, offers modern comfort in approximately 45 m² and features a spacious balcony equipped with seating and a sun lounger. The bright rooms and large panoramic windows provide a fantastic view of the idyllic surroundings.

The apartment is ideal for families and couples. The living area features a cosy dining nook, a sleeper sofa (1.40 m x 2.00 m), and a TV. The kitchenette is equipped with a dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and plenty of dishes. The stylish bedroom with a box-spring bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m) ensures a restful night’s sleep.

A special highlight is the cosy children’s sleeping area on the loft (120 x 200 cm), lovingly crafted from reclaimed South Tyrolean wood. Accessible via a ladder, it’s a real adventure—suitable for children ages 6 and up. The modern bathroom with a nearly walk-in shower and toilet rounds out the amenities.

The entire outdoor area is available for shared use by all our guests. Here you’ll find a beautiful barbecue area and playground for the whole family. While the children play, you can relax on comfortable lounge chairs or enjoy the magnificent view. For social evenings—even during a brief summer shower—the cosy, covered seating area invites you to linger together and get to know one another.

Amenities for a completely carefree stay:
Upon your arrival, you’ll find freshly made beds, carefully laid out hand towels, shower towels, and tea towels, as well as a starter kit with cleaning, dishwashing, and hygiene supplies. Final cleaning, bed linens, and one set of towels per person per week are included in the price; additional towel sets can be booked at any time as needed.

Important Notes:
Dogs are allowed in this accommodation for an additional fee. Please note that dogs must be kept on a leash on the property, as the owners also have pets. Flexible check-in and check-out are available seven days a week, and thanks to the key safe on site, even a late arrival is no problem.
Wi-Fi, parking, and a place to store bicycles are available free of charge.
This holiday rental is also available for longer stays. A washing machine and dryer are available for shared use with the neighbouring holiday rental. Prices upon request.
