In nature, surrounded by nature, and yet very close to the Fichtelgebirge’s top attractions—that’s the Panorama Apartment at the Ochsenkopf. Its location on the outskirts of this health resort, known for its therapeutic climate, combines living close to nature with the benefits of the town’s excellent recreational facilities. All major destinations are within walking distance, such as bakeries and restaurants, a supermarket, and the Ochsenkopf North Ski Run. The 73-square-meter apartment on the first floor of the Scandinavian-style country house is finished with natural materials, and its wood-burning stove creates a cozy atmosphere after a hike or bike ride. Its spacious and bright rooms accommodate 5 people in two bedrooms, a bathroom with a wheelchair-accessible shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room with a TV and a wood-burning stove, and a small balcony. Starting in August 2024, a small garden with a seating area, swing, baby swing, sandbox, and fire pit will also be available for shared use. A lockable storage area is available for cyclists. A 50% prepayment may be charged after booking. Payment is due in advance—either in cash on-site or via bank transfer. Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to midnight. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Keys are handed over in person on-site; in exceptional cases, self-check-in is available via a code. Pets are allowed upon agreement, but dogs are not permitted. A crib/extra bed and a high chair can be provided free of charge upon request. A visitor’s tax of 2.50 EUR per person per night is payable on-site. Bed linens, hand towels, and bath towels are included.
