About this property
Gemütliches Ferienhaus in Nordholland
Our holiday home has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 5 people (max. 4 adults). Screened windows in the bedrooms let in fresh air, even when the mosquitoes are out and about at night. One bedroom with a bunk bed is ideal for 2 children; the middle bedroom has a single bed; and the third is furnished with a queen-size bed (mattress size 160x200).
The bathroom features a toilet, shower, and sink.
The kitchen is equipped for 5 people. You can choose between a Nespresso machine or a drip coffee maker. Since the renovation, we have a large refrigerator that also has a small freezer compartment. The microwave is now stored in the cabinet. We use a gas stove for cooking. The oven is electric.
The TV in the living area has satellite reception. You’re welcome to use our books, maps, DVDs, and games.
The house is located in the 't Geestmerambacht bungalow park on the North Holland Canal. From here, you can reach many worthwhile destinations. You can bike to the beach, to Alkmaar, Bergen, Bergen aan Zee, Schagen, ... I love biking through this varied landscape. By car, I recommend Den Helder, Texel, Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Haarlem, and Zaanse Schans. We prefer to take the train from Alkmaar to Amsterdam.
