The holiday home "Nordsee Landhuus Heinken" is located in a very quiet location in the middle of a nature reserve. You have an absolutely unobstructed view of the East Frisian meadows and fields and relax far away from any through traffic in the small village of Folstenhausen near the North Sea spas of Esens-Bensersiel and Neuharlingersiel on the East Frisian North Sea coast.

The North Sea spa town of Bensersiel and the beach are only six kilometres away and are located directly at the unique natural spectacle "Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park", since 2009 "UNESCO World Heritage Site". You can easily get there by car in 10 minutes or by bike in a leisurely three-quarters of an hour.

The lovingly furnished and brightly designed half of the holiday home in the former south-facing residential part of the country house is about 90 square metres in size and is ideal for a relaxing North Sea holiday for two to four people plus an additional toddler, so it is the ideal place for your family holiday and for couples of all ages.

In the holiday home there is a living room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet as well as another toilet. You can safely park your bicycles in the tool shed.

In the large, sheltered garden with a large sun terrace, families have plenty of space for rest and relaxation in summer or to romp around on the 5,000 sqm property with fish pond and a small lake.

In autumn and winter, you can make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace. The tasteful, East Frisian-rural furnishings and paintings by local artists make the special charm of the holiday home perfect.

It is not far to the North Sea coast and thus to the dike and to the tourist facilities and to the spa facilities, for example in the two North Sea spas Esens-Bensersiel or Neuharlingersiel or in Dornumersiel. Especially by bike, you can explore the area excellently from here!

By bike, you have the healthiest connection to the North Sea in the coastal resorts or to the dike, so to speak, in the truest sense of the word. Our location is ideal for walks, bike tours and discovery trips of all kinds in the unique and diverse nature of East Frisia. Experience your holiday at the North Sea in an active and relaxed way and benefit optimally from the stimulating climate of the North Sea.

The North Sea spa Esens-Bensersiel in the immediate vicinity has a lot to offer for sports, recreation and games, for example in Bensersiel the North Sea thermal spa "Sonneninsel" with sauna area, wellness offers and many other leisure attractions, the outdoor wave pool, tennis courts and maritime sports theme park, surfing sections on the dike, fitness offers, beach volleyball, fishing opportunities and of course the very child-friendly beach and much more. Your children or all of you should also visit the indoor play park "Klabautermann" in Esens and are sure to have a lot of fun there. The "Klabautermann" is a large hall full of ideas for playing and romping.

Also very close is the North Sea spa of Neuharlingersiel. Neuharlingersiel is a 300-year-old fishing village with an active shrimp cutter fleet. In the beautiful historic fishing harbour, East Frisian fishing is still actively practised by many shrimp cutters.

For your holiday, there is also a wide range of tourist attractions in Neuharlingersiel: the beach with a great water play area "Platschi", the new modern SPA and wellness facility "BadeWerk" with seawater indoor pool and sauna facility as well as the Kurhaus, Kursaal, information centre with children's playhouse "Leuchttürmchen", Sielhof as a "house of the guest", green areas, events, lovingly maintained historic harbour and many more offers.

For example, Dornumersiel with its beach and seawater swimming pool is also a good place to visit: Dornumersiel has been a North Sea resort since 1990 and has a very large sandy beach. This Sielort is one of the oldest harbours on the East Frisian coast.

A special and rich art treat is the Nannen Museum of the foundation of the "Stern" founder Henri Nannen in Emden.

Do you have children with you? Don't forget the pet park in Werdum. This special little zoo is especially popular with young visitors. You can also feed or pet and playfully get to know the multifaceted world of pets and farm animals from all continents. Werdum is also worth a tour for adults!
