About this property

Apartment 'Haus Am Alten Deich' with Private Terrace, Shared Garden and Wi-Fi

House on the old dyke - on the Golden Ring -

Our thatched-roof house dates back to 1734 and 1832 and is located on the Golden Ring dating from 1436, right on the Danish border. It is the oldest dyke in Wiedingharde and has a correspondingly long history.

To the north on the Danish side is the nature reserve with a wide view of the birdlife. You can experience the region's wildlife up close in the garden and the surrounding fields and meadows. They are closer to you than your nearest neighbor.

Experience the natural spectacle of the "Black Sun" or simply enjoy the migration and resting of the birds. Explore the border route by bike or go on an extensive canoe tour on the Lecker or Soholmer Au.

Pure North Frisia for couples, nature lovers and families

An unobstructed view in all four directions on the one hand, an idyllic gem in a lovingly landscaped garden on the other. Soothing peace and relaxation, plus a spacious 70 m² vacation apartment on two floors with an unobstructed view to the dyke (approx. 3 km) to the west and over the Danish border to the north. The nearby supermarkets in Klanxbüll and Neukirchen (approx. 6 km) and Rosenkranz (approx. 3-4 km) allow for easy self-catering. Since we are located in the middle of nature, a car or motorcycle is recommended.

In the apartment there is a bedroom with double bed (1.90 x 2.00 m), a living room / bedroom with sofa bed (1.60 x 2.00 m), kitchen-living room and a modern shower room with toilet. The apartment has a separate entrance, its own garden with outdoor seating, bicycle parking and beach chair.

Rodenäs is a paradise for lovers of the North Frisian landscape and way of life.
