Country house (110m2) in the countryside without WLAN

The front door opens directly into the bright hallway of the 110-square-meter country house “Erbse.” There you’ll find plenty of informational materials about our Franconian Forest and the surrounding area. On the ground floor, you’ll find the cosy living room, which is furnished with a sleeper sofa. There’s a large wooden cabinet here containing a TV with a DVD player and plenty of DVDs, as well as numerous games for relaxing evenings. The rustic dining room, featuring many musical instruments and a high chair for children, is located in the adjoining room. Both rooms are connected by a large fireplace, allowing the warmth to spread throughout the entire living area on the ground floor. The fully equipped kitchen is also on the ground floor. Amenities include a coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, egg cooker, pots and pans, as well as cutlery, glasses, bowls, and plates. The bathroom, featuring a bathtub and toilet, is also on the ground floor. A hair dryer and towels are provided free of charge by the “Erbse” holiday home. The adjoining room, equipped with a stereo system and featuring a rustic sofa set, invites you to relax and is also located on the ground floor. A beautiful wooden staircase leads you to the upper floor of the house. Through a large hallway with seating and a play area for children, as well as a foosball table, you’ll reach the first bedroom with a double bed and a cot. Here, the old, cosy half-timbered structure creates an atmosphere of peace and relaxation. Across the hall is the second bedroom with two single beds. Each bedroom features a large, solid-wood closet with hangers and wooden shelves for storing your luggage. The “Erbse” holiday home provides bed linens for the individual beds free of charge. To heat our country house, you can use the large tiled stove in the living and dining area, as well as electric heaters in the other rooms. Firewood is always available. Our country house was built about 150 years ago and therefore has a maximum ceiling height of approximately 2.00 metres. To help you enjoy country life to the fullest, we have deliberately chosen not to offer Wi-Fi or social media access at our “Erbse” holiday home. The beautiful, large, fenced-in garden covers approximately 1,000 square metres and offers a sweeping view of the Franconian Forest. Numerous seating areas here invite you to linger. Right in front of the house is a terrace with a comfortable, cosy lounge area that includes a parasol to provide shade on hot days. For relaxing evenings by the campfire, there’s a fire pit with seating and a fire bowl right next to the terrace. Next to it is our herb garden, where you can pick your own fresh herbs for various meals. A large table with six chairs in the shade of the house is perfect for sharing breakfast or dinner together. Under the linden tree next to the grapevine, you’ll find lounge chairs and a hanging chair for relaxing and enjoying balmy summer evenings. The porch of the garden house also offers rustic wooden seating, allowing you to spend time outdoors even on rainy days. Our family-friendly country house is located in an absolutely quiet setting, with no through traffic, right on the edge of the forest. Numerous hiking trails, bike routes, and cross-country ski trails in winter start from here. Pets are allowed upon request and for an additional fee. There is a parking space directly in front of the house; additional parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the house at the hiking car park. Payment is due via bank transfer one week prior to arrival. A 30% deposit is due at the time of booking. The security deposit is 200 EUR and will be refunded no later than 5 days after departure. Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, when keys will be handed over. Check-out is possible from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM; keys can be left at the designated spot. A cot is available free of charge. Pets are allowed for a fee of 10 EUR per pet per night.
