About Stan Groman
I have been coming to Costa Rica since 1965 when I was in college. In 2004 I decided to purchase a upper condo in the newest development in planning in Coco at the time, Cocomarindo. It took years to complete but was finally finished in 2008. I speak Spanish and welcome guests from anywhere.
Stan Groman purchased this Condo in 2008
Why Stan Groman chose Coco
This gated complex is about as close to the beach as you can get and own property. The state owns the first few hundred meters. Being an upper unit in the complex, it is more quiet, private, and has a prettier view from the balcony. It is the only unit offering the amenities we do: near full wall mirrors in the living room and master bedroom. Not caring to smell the odors of foods cooking we put in vents that exit to the exterior in the kitchen and bathroom, added amenities such as bicycles, snorkeling equipment, air mattresses and frisbies to make your stay more enjoyable.
What makes this Condo unique
The tropical gardens inside the complex are extremely well groomed and the pool is cleaned every morning and kept clear and balanced chemically so it is seldom if ever cloudy. The complex is well maintained with 24 hour security.
Pool / Spa
1. Bicycles must be locked when left anywhere unattended. 2. Shower each time entering pool 3. No loud music in common areas or on balcony. 4. No wet or drying laundry on balcony railings

Unit # 72
The property was exactly as described. Convenient to everything. Great complex well maintained.
Great Location with a nice pool and short walk to beach.
Nice small condo, tennis club de coco down the road. Bikes and snorkels a plus. Wish we wouldn’t have rented a car for our full stay. Close to everything for walking and bikes. Thank you for having your condo available!
Relaxing in paradise.
We really enjoyed this property. When we arrived the check-in process went pretty smoothly. The security guard at the gate took very good care of us. The property is beautiful and our apartment was clean and well cared for. The kitchen is well appointed with all we needed to prepare what meals we wanted to and town was a short walk away for the rest. The bed was comfortable and the acs worked very well. We did have trouble with the internet and since our phone did not work in Costa Rica without changing the SIM card it was a little distressing not to be able to check-in with our son to say we arrived safely. We resolved the internet problem the next day and everything was great after that. There was lots to choose from as far as TV was concerned if you are a TV watcher. The pool was right outside our door and very well kept. We met lots of friendly neighbors and everyone was a wealth of information. We’ll definitely go back to visit Coco Beach area and hope to stay at Stan’s place again.
Great Condo...... Great Location.....
The condo had everything that you would need to enjoy your stay. The unit itself was very clean and the complex was meticulously maintained. The pool had a great vibe that allowed you to meet and hang-out with others. The 24 hour security was nice and the security people were very friendly (like every local in the area). However the best part was the road leading to the condo from Coco........ We stayed with our 17 year old son and all enjoyed every aspect of Cocomarindo and Guanacaste.
Great 1st time in Costa Rica
Condo was comfortable and clean. Nice people. Limited parking but we were able to park inside most of our stay. Nice pool and close to everything. The bikes were great. No complaints.
Nice condo, cozy relaxing place with a beautiful pool
This place was great, decent walking distance to downtown Playas del Coco. The condo is small but very nice, comfortable and clean, and fully equipped. It is right in front of the pool, which was the best part. The pool is very big and has a nice shallow part. The other guests were very friendly and fun to talk to. They gave us suggestions for tours, shopping, and good places to eat. Parking is limited inside the complex, so you may have to park outside if you rent a vehicle. Overall the place was great and exactly what we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach.
Playa del Coco is more of a native town than tourist center. Described as a scruffy fishing village by a well known tour book, and not a polished Acapulco. You will find yourself mixing with natives of the area. The Mapache boat departing Thursdays is one of the best ways to see the beaches, go snorkeling, kayaking, and sun bathing on pristine beaches away from Coco.
