With our “FREI:zeit,” which was completely renovated and refurnished in the spring of 2024, we offer interested guests another compact accommodation option for up to two guests. Within 42 m², we’ve included everything you’d expect from a modern and comfortable holiday apartment, without feeling cramped.

In the entryway, you’ll find a coat rack with storage space, so you can put away your jackets and luggage right away and really settle in.
Step through the glass door into the heart of the apartment: Here, across 25 m², you’ll find a cosy living area with a sofa, smart TV, and DAB+ sound system, as well as a desk in case you still have some work to take care of. With our free, reliable guest Wi-Fi, you’ll have internet access at all times.

We’ve set up the dining area slightly separate from the living area. Here, you can enjoy a meal comfortably as a couple or with your guests. There is plenty of dishware, glasses, and silverware available.
If you want to enjoy yourself at home, you’ll naturally want to be able to cook. That’s why we’ve set up a fully equipped kitchenette for you. Even ambitious home cooks will find everything they need here: In addition to an induction cooktop with a range hood, you’ll find a modern oven, a dishwasher, and, of course, a refrigerator with a *** freezer compartment.

We believe pots, pans, cutting boards, and various kitchen gadgets belong in a kitchen just as much as a coffee maker. Here, you can choose between a Senseo pod machine and a filter coffee maker. There’s also a kettle with a preset temperature for tea lovers among our guests, a toaster, and an egg cooker.

To ensure you’re as well-rested as possible the next day when exploring the city of Marburg or the beautiful surrounding countryside, we’ve provided a French bed (140 x 200 cm—without a footboard!) with a very comfortable mattress and topper in the separate bedroom.
We offer standard-size comforters and, upon request, extra-large ones as well. For hygienic reasons, our comforters and pillows are filled with synthetic hollow fibres. The pillows are encased in protective covers, and our mattresses and toppers are fitted with mattress protectors. All linens are, of course, cleaned after every stay by the certified laundry service of the Lahnwerkstätten Marburg.
Naturally, the beds are freshly made for you upon arrival.

You’ll also find a spacious closet in the bedroom where you can easily store your clothes during your stay. From the bedroom, you’ll find the completely newly furnished bathroom with a spacious, glass-enclosed walk-in shower, toilet, and sink. The warm, fluffy towels are already waiting for you.

All windows in the holiday rental are equipped with forced ventilation and electric roller shutters. For your safety, our apartments are equipped with smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. The parking space assigned to the apartment, complete with a wallbox, is right outside your door. The apartment is located in a quiet rear building that is accessible only via a private driveway. From there, it’s just a few metres to the train and bus stop.
We also have a laundry room accessible to all our holiday apartments, equipped with a top-loading washing machine and an electric dryer for free use.
You can safely store any bicycles or e-bikes you bring with you in our ground-level storage room.
Would you like to visit us with your dog? No problem! For just a €15 flat fee per night, we’ll provide your furry friend with a comfortable dog bed, a dog towel, a starter kit of poop bags, bowls for water and food, and a welcome treat. And if you need tips on walking routes, groomers, or a veterinary surgeon, feel free to ask us.

No matter what brings you to us—whether it’s a holiday, business, visiting relatives, or an appointment at the university hospital: we’d like to offer you a smoke-free temporary home with our four DTV-certified **** holiday apartments, which provide modern comforts and excellent transport access without sacrificing peace and quiet. Free parking spaces are available right next to the building, as well as two wall boxes for affordable charging of your electric car. You’re welcome to store any bicycles you bring with you in our bike garage.
In addition, we’re within walking distance of the public transit network, the Lahn Bike Trail, and numerous local shopping options. By train, for example, you can reach Marburg Central Station in just 5 minutes. From there, you have direct bus connections to the clinics and institutes on the Lahnbergen, the Behringwerke Industrial Park, and, of course, the ideal starting point for exploring city centre Marburg.

On-site fees: A 100% prepayment is required upon booking. Payment must be made by bank transfer before arrival. Cancellations made up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge. Later cancellations will be charged at 50% of the total price. Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. Keys will be handed over in person on site. Dogs allowed upon request (surcharge of €15/night). Cot and high chair: available (free of charge). Use of the holiday apartments for any purpose other than lodging, in particular any commercial use, is expressly prohibited. Any violation of this prohibition constitutes a breach of contract and a violation of the house rules. In the event of a violation or if a violation is suspected, we reserve the right to take legal action against you. If there is reasonable suspicion of a violation of the prohibition on commercial use, we may refuse to hand over the keys. If there is evidence of a criminal offence, it will be reported to the authorities.



Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00, and check-out is from 12:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
