The sea is just a few steps away. Stroll to the beach and refresh yourself in the sea. You can also hire various boats and jet skis on the beach and discover the coast from the water. Royan is a wonderful seaside resort with many events in the summer months. You can also visit the famous Palmyre Zoo. An hour's drive will take you to Cognac and La Rochelle as well as the islands of Île de Ré and Île d'Oléron.
