The chalet is located on a small chalet park in Hohentauern, a charming mountain village in Styria. Located at 1,274 metres altitude, amid the impressive landscape of the Niedere Tauern, you will enjoy peace, nature and plenty of opportunities for sporting activities here.

The ski resort of Hohentauern is within walking distance - the ski lift is just 200 metres from the park, and offers 11 km of wide, perfectly prepared slopes, ranging from easy to challenging. Prefer to discover something else? The region is also home to the larger ski areas of Kreischberg (42 km of slopes), Lachtal (36 km of slopes), and the family-friendly Riesneralm (30 km of slopes). Beginners can practise their first turns in Kaiserau near Admont (3 km of ski slopes), and cross-country skiers can hit the trails directly from the chalet park: the network around Hohentauern covers about 18 km of trails.

Also in summer, Hohentauern is a paradise for nature lovers and active holidaymakers. From the chalet, you can walk straight into the mountains or hop on your bike to explore the picturesque Murtal region. You can swim in clear mountain lakes in Gaishorn am See and in Wald am Schoberpass, and relax in the surrounding thermal spas. For motor sport fans, the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg is just 35 km away - ideal for a day trip!
