About this property

This adorable cottage is in a private community with a 400' beach. Sleeping 6 it has an updated bath w/wshr-dryer, stainless appliances, 47' cable TV, wi/fi, large selection of dvd's, and gas fireplace. We supply towels, coffee, creamer, charcoal, grill and there are also kayak's for your personal use. Just grab your wagon filled with cooler, chairs and umbrella and hit the beach. There are volleyball, horse shoes, tennis and fire pits. For those rainy days we are conveniently located between Port Huron and Lexington where you may find shopping, wineries, breweries, and a Casino 6 miles away across the bridge in Canada. Special weekends include the Port Huron to Mackinac Sailboat race which starts in the lake across from our beach! There are also festivals and the annual Float-down where you may float from the lake down the St Clair river. Whatever you enjoy you'll find it in our area. From freighter watching to nature trails to shopping and gambling we have it all!

Lake Huron Rustic Cabin

My family enjoyed our stay at this property. Just a short walk to a beautiful private beach for sunning, swimming and rock hunting. The owners were just a few doors down and quick to respond to any inquiries.

Beautiful Beach Cottage

Cute, clean and a stone's throw from the beach!! Our dog loved it too! Small fenced in back yard was perfect for our 10 pound pooch and he loved our daily walk/visit to the beautiful private beach! Our dog didn't want to leave and neither did we!

We purchased this cottage in 2010 and loved it so much that we bought a house two doors down and moved here permanently.

Why they chose this property

We really feel that this is one of the best kept secrets in MI. Lake Huron is amazing providing us with beauty, petosky stones, beach glass, boats, freighters, sunrises, kayaking, standup paddling, snorkeling, sand and sun! Yet, we are conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, casinos, antiquing, etc. Detroit is an hour away which offers a major airport, sporting events and more.

What makes this property unique

We are conveniently located near a state and a county park, trails, and cute lake towns like Lexington. The 'Sunrise Side' of Michigan is really it's best kept secret!
