Apartment '1' with Wi-Fi

The holiday apartment 1 is located in Schwalmstadt and is the ideal accommodation for a relaxing getaway. The 28 m² property consists of a living room, a kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom as well as an additional toilet and can therefore accommodate 3 people. This accommodation does not offer: Wi-Fi and towels.

The house is mentioned in the Ziegenhain town records as early as 1572.

It has always served as a hostel for traveling merchants on the old trade routes "Durch die langen Hessen" and the "Niederrheinischen Straßen". However, not only travelers, but also soldiers stayed in the house from time to time.



Birthplace of Carl Bantzer (August 6, 1857), a well-known painter, university lecturer and art writer who was strongly influenced by Impressionism.



Experience the unique flair of bygone times in our lovingly and sustainably renovated "Zeihäänger Stubb.*". The historic building was extensively renovated in 2023 using ecological construction methods with clay plaster and the careful restoration of old beams to create a place that combines modern comfort with historical charm.
