Huus Eiderente: a wooden house in the Scandinavian architectural style for those who love the North Sea, relaxation, spending time alone with a partner, tranquility, restful sleep free from train noise—and with almost no noise from roads or air traffic—and a clear, sparkling starry sky.
A breath of fresh air! And all of this is possible here for up to 6 people, making it perfect for a holiday with the whole family—from grandparents to grandchildren!
The house is fully accessible inside.
Four seasons at Huus Eiderente with healthy North Sea air—in all weather conditions, with up to 14 hours of sunshine and perfect barbecue weather in spring and summer, wind, or a light sea breeze—and you can enjoy it all either out on the wind-sheltered terrace or simply in the sun when it’s almost completely calm, or even during storms and rain in the fall or winter by the cosy wood-burning stove with crackling firewood and a drink of your choice.
For cosy warmth, the sauna is available for relaxation and warming up after a wintery or chilly long walk—for example, to the Eider Dam, that unique engineering marvel from the 1970s. Or after visits to Büsum or Tönning. We’d be happy to provide information about day trip destinations and sights—places we’ve visited ourselves or that our guests have experienced and shared with us.
Our sunroom—a unique feature and a delight in both windy and sunny weather :-) The morning sun shines in during breakfast in spring, fall, or even summer, inviting you to enjoy a cosy first cup of coffee in the sunroom.
Relax on the lounge chairs or chairs on the large terrace or lawn, for example, after bike rides, swimming at the North Sea beach, or long walks by the sea.

We offer 3 bedrooms with “real beds”: 2 with a handmade, built-in comfort bed measuring 180 x 200 cm or 160 x 200 cm, and a small room with 2 beds, each measuring 80 x 200 cm, in a sturdy, custom-built bunk bed configuration—all solid craftsmanship by a carpenter.
Up to 6 guests can enjoy relaxation and a restful night’s sleep at Huus Eiderente.

Optional add-on: Linen package (€21.50 per person) including bed linens (three-piece set), a hand towel, a bath towel, and a tea towel.

Sustainable: The solar power system covers most of the daily electricity needs.
The house has a solar power system without storage, which easily covers your typical daytime electricity needs at no cost to you. Any additional electricity drawn from the grid will be billed at 40 cents per kWh.
