This is our house: We affectionately call it our dacha—our little cottage with a surrounding garden, located above Nothweiler, with a fantastic view of the village and the surrounding forests all the way up to Wegelnburg Castle. The House on Sagenweg is located on the outskirts of town, right on the hiking trail to the “Sagenweg.” Built in the 1970s, our little cottage offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday: a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely dining area, and a living room with a panoramic view. The kitchen opens directly onto the garden. The lawn is perfect for sunbathing and relaxing, and the view of the forests and Wegelnburg Castle is sure to inspire daydreams. Ideal for 2 people (also available for 4 people upon request), simply beautiful and practical for spending time together.

The house on Sagenweg features a modern open-concept living room and kitchen, fully equipped with all necessary appliances: induction cooktops, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and everything else you need for a holiday. From the dining area, you can enjoy the view of the garden and the woods.
The living room, featuring a panoramic window, welcomes guests with a cosy sitting area and entertainment options such as a TV, DVD player, and mini stereo system with an iPod connection. High-speed Wi-Fi and satellite TV round out the technological amenities. The bedroom is equipped with high-quality beds and a spacious closet.
The wonderful tranquility and the view of the surrounding woods ensure a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom with a bathtub also offers a beautiful view of the surrounding meadows and woods. In the basement, there is another very spacious bedroom as well as a small bathroom, which can be included in the rental upon request. A washing machine adds to the convenience. A large, secluded garden facing south/west, with patio furniture in front of and behind the house, invites you to relax and unwind. There is also a bike shed and parking spaces.
Please understand that smoking is not permitted in the house on Sagenweg. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

The house, located directly on the border with France, is situated in an absolutely peaceful setting on the outskirts of Nothweiler, a small village nestled between the Palatinate Forest and the Northern Vosges. Gentle hills perfect for hiking, shady forests, and expansive orchard meadows invite you to enjoy an unforgettable holiday in the German-French Biosphere Reserve. The Burgenland region enchants visitors with its numerous castles and rock formations in the romantic Wasgau valley within the Dahner Felsenland holiday region. Worthwhile day trips, sights, and swimming lakes ensure a varied and active holiday. Ideal for hiking, biking, walking, climbing, and trail riding.

On-site costs: Included in the price: Laundry sets with matching bed linens and towels are included. There is a parking space on the property right next to the house. Water and electricity usage, as well as internet access, are included in the rental price. Let us know in advance what you need… we’ll make sure you have everything you need. Visitor’s Tax: The municipality of Nothweiler has been collecting a visitor’s tax since July 1, 2024. The visitor’s tax, including tax, is €1.50 per person subject to the tax and per night. Children under the age of 16, as well as people with severe disabilities and their accompanying persons, are exempt. The guest tax is reduced by 50% for schoolchildren, minors in vocational training, and students up to the age of 25. This fee must be paid at the lodging facility no later than the day of departure. To do so, you must fill out and sign the corresponding registration form, which is available at the lodging facility. We ask that you complete this form and pay the fee accordingly.
