Welcome to our “Mondhäuschen” and “Rhön Häuschen” at the Haselbach Holiday Park. Our three cottages are located right at the foot of the 928-meter-high Kreuzberg, in the heart of the beautiful Rhön UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The Rhön is a nearly untouched low mountain range that’s perfect for hiking, biking, trekking, relaxing, and slowing down. Our charming Finnish-style cabins are ideally located in the Haselbach holiday village and are the perfect place to enjoy your holiday. Our “Mondhäuschen” is our newest cottage and was lovingly renovated in 2025. The holiday home features a large and cosy dining and living area with a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage has two separate bedrooms on the upper floor and a modern bathroom. Another highlight is the large terrace with a wonderful view of the Kreuzberg—plus, the lush green space in front of the terrace is perfect for relaxing. Here, you can enjoy your morning workout or daily yoga session in a relaxed atmosphere. Payment is due in advance via bank transfer. Check-in is available starting at 3:00 PM. Check-out is due by 11:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Keys are provided via a key safe—the code will be sent in a separate email. Pets are not allowed. A cot can be provided upon request (free of charge). The visitor’s tax of 1 EUR per person (ages 16 and up) per night is paid directly on site. The base rate includes towels, bed linens, Wi-Fi, and a parking space.
