Hailey is the airport 'hub' of the Sun Valley area, nestled in the hills just 15 minutes from Ketchum and 20 minutes from the world famous Sun Valley Resort. This house is offered as a private retreat where guests feel at home in a casual, comfortable, quiet setting with walking distance to the river and the welcoming town of Hailey.

The property is home to three structures set among the cottonwoods. Two are rental units, one is the owner's residence. Care has been taken to ensure privacy as each rental unit is quite close in proximity. Parking is available just steps from your door and each unit has it's own private patio space.

The Hailey House is tucked into the trees just down Little Indio Lane, around the corner from everything that makes Hailey a great place to stay! Hop Porter Park, Hailey's city park, is just a short walk from the Hailey House and offers vast expanses of lawn, a covered BBQ/entertaining area and huge play structures for the kids. Lion's Park, the Wood River Nature Conservancy river trail, and Carbonate Mountain for hiking and biking are all just a short walk from this house. Fishing on the beautiful Wood River is also just a stone's throw away.

A short walk from the Big Wood River or the center of historic downtown Hailey, the Hailey Cabin is just minutes away from world-class restaurants, shopping and sightseeing.

Hailey stay

The little house was really nice to stay in. We had our daughter and grandsons come over one night. We baked cookies and played out in the leaves in the backyard. Nice quite location but still close to everything. We hope we can stay there again next time we go up there.

Beautiful cabin in the trees

The cabin was super clean and comfortable. It’s surrounded by trees and stays cool. The setting is peaceful but also walkable to town. Dan & Linda are lovely people and very friendly. I highly recommend this rental!

About the host

Hosted by Linda and Danny Boyd

Danny and Linda Boyd are the second generation of Boyds to own this property in Hailey, Idaho. Four homes on the site were originally built in 1967 by Danny, his father, uncle and grandfather. Two of the 'cabins' as the family refers to them, are still owned by the family, were refurbished in 2014 and 2021, and another loft space added over a new garage in 2019. All are continually and lovingly maintained by Danny and Linda. The Hailey House has been available for short and long term rental since 2004.
