Welcome to Hus Siknäs, a cosy holiday home with fenced garden in Dalarna, peacefully located in a detached setting in the heart of the region. Situated between Mora, Vansbro and Malung and surrounded by plenty of nature, the house offers excellent conditions for families, couples and dog owners who want to spend their holiday in Sweden among forests and lakes.

The holiday home offers approximately 100 m² of living space and accommodates up to 4 guests. There are 2 separate bedrooms.

The cosy living area invites you to relax after a day in nature. Especially on cooler evenings, the wood-burning stove creates a pleasant atmosphere and an authentic Swedish holiday-home feeling. Wi-Fi and a television that can be used for streaming via the internet are also available.

Another lovely living space is the conservatory with electric wall heating. This allows you to enjoy views of the surrounding greenery even on cooler days and provides an additional cosy place for reading, dining or relaxing.

The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering and includes a cooker, oven, refrigerator, freezer compartment, microwave and coffee machine.

The bathroom is equipped with a shower. An additional guest toilet is also available, which is particularly practical when staying with four guests. A washing machine is provided as well.

A particular advantage of Hus Siknäs is the large, fully fenced property. Especially for guests travelling with a dog, the garden offers plenty of freedom and excellent conditions for relaxing holiday days.

Garden furniture, a barbecue and a fire pit are also available. Here you can enjoy meals outdoors, spend long summer evenings together or end the day relaxing by the fire.

For active holiday days, 2 mountain bikes are available free of charge. They are a great way to explore the peaceful roads and landscapes around Siknäs independently.

A rowing boat can also be used free of charge during your stay, allowing you to experience the lake landscape of Dalarna from the water.

Forests and nature trails begin directly around the house and are ideal for walks, hikes and cycling tours. Especially in late summer, you can also collect berries and mushrooms in the surrounding forests.

Dalarna also has a special character during winter. Cross-country skiing opportunities can be found in the surrounding area, and when ice conditions are suitable and safe, the frozen lakes can also be used for winter activities.

Thanks to its location between Mora, Vansbro and Malung, you can discover many different sides of Dalarna. A trip to Mora is worthwhile for attractions including the Zorn Museum and the town’s long tradition associated with the Vasaloppet.

The well-known Lake Siljan is also a lovely destination for a day trip. Around the lake, you will find small villages, traditional landscapes and numerous opportunities for excursions.

In Nusnäs, you can also learn more about one of Sweden’s best-known symbols: the traditional red Dalahästar, or Dala horses.

Hus Siknäs is a non-smoking holiday home. Dogs are welcome and can stay free of charge.

During the summer months, electricity is already included. Outside the summer season, electricity is charged according to actual consumption.

No security deposit is required.
