The house was built in 1890 and lovingly renovated by my mother and me in 2023. Here you can relax, enjoy nature, and experience what it’s like to live in an authentic Norwegian home.
The peaceful location invites you to explore the island with its beaches, mountains, and diverse array of animals and wildlife.
Self-check-in is available, and pets are allowed by arrangement.
The kitchen is fully equipped. The house is stocked with basic cleaning supplies. The covered seating area invites you to relax, and patio furniture is available in the spring, summer, and fall. The four bedrooms can accommodate 8 adults.
Inside the house, you’ll find children’s games and board games, as well as a selection of art and craft supplies.
Upon request, we’ll be happy to provide a high chair, children’s play table, drawing board, children’s play mat, “street mat,” stroller with
footmuff, travel cot, high chair, and changing table in the house.
There is a Smart TV in the living room. Internet service is provided via Starlink and typically reaches speeds of at least 80 Mbit/s download and 15 Mbit/s upload.
In the outbuilding, you’ll find a grill, a badminton set, two sets of boules, three stand-up paddleboards, life jackets, and fishing gear for four people—all of which you’re welcome to use free of charge during your stay.
You have the entire house, including the garden and terrace, as well as the open-air barbecue hut, at your disposal.
The hot tub can accommodate up to eight people.
If you’re interested, we’d be happy to recommend “whale-watching tours.”
Just 2 minutes from the house, you can rent e-bikes and fishing boats.
