The "Funkenstube" holiday rental offers 90 square metres of space, including a bedroom with a double bed, as well as three sofa beds in the living room and adjoining room. The living room features a TV for cosy film nights; the underfloor heating ensures a comfortable indoor climate, and the Swedish wood-burning stove adds to the cosy atmosphere. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. There is also a separate bathroom available. We’re committed to the energy transition: A charging station for your electric car is available in the car park! The Martinihof is a family-run farm that has been in the same family for generations. Treating the environment responsibly has always been very important to us, which is why our farm has been certified according to Bioland’s strict criteria since 1995. The focus of our work is on preserving our biodiverse cultural landscape—our land is intended to provide a habitat for rare and endangered animal and plant species. From 2023 to 2025, we renovated the “Alte Schmiede” in Geuser—5 km from our main farmlands—and converted it into a holiday home with two holiday apartments. Dating back to 1848, the Frankenwaldhaus has been a well-known landmark in Geuser and has even appeared on postcards. We’ve preserved the character of the house, modernised it, insulated it using state-of-the-art wood fibre insulation, and equipped it with solar panels, a heat pump, and underfloor heating. Each apartment has a wood-burning stove ready for use. Enjoy the Franconian Forest in a historic building, modernised with the latest technology! We look forward to your visit! You’re also welcome to visit our farm animals in Mittelberg. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in advance to arrange this if necessary. Keys will be handed over in person on-site or via a key box. You will receive the code in advance of your arrival. A baby cot or rollaway bed can be provided free of charge upon request. Pets are allowed for a fee of 25 EUR per pet per stay.
