Op eerste oog een net huisje. Bij een langer verblijf in de zomer komen al snel wat ongemakken naar voren. De badkamer waarbij je moet douchen met een vensterbank in je schouder en je over de toilet heen moet stappen het bad in. Op een houten tuinset na waren er geen buitenmeubelen aanwezig terwijl bij de buren het balkon vol stond met ligbedden en stoelen. (Dit kwam uit de gezamelijke kelder, blijkbaar wie eerst komt, eerst maalt.) Inchecken gebeurde middels sleutelkastje. Verder geen instructies gekregen over wat te doen bij uitchecken of te doen met afval. Het huisje is in de zomermaanden moeilijk te luchten gezien de ramen allemaal aan dezelfde kant van het huis zitten. Temperatuur was hierdoor in het huisje niet te doen. De terrasdeuren naar buiten zijn onhandig geplaatst gezien de deur richting de keuken open gaat. Koken/afwassen met de deur open is geen optie. Voor de omgeving zeker een aanrader. Harz is een prachtige omgeving ondanks dat het Zwarte Woud nu door de boomschorskever meer grijs aandoet. Vele activiteiten en bezienswaardigheden in de buurt. Prima vakantiebestemming.
