In the heart of Hohenberg, the Gasthof Zur Burg awaits you with its own farm, fish farm, and sausage production. Here you’ll find cosy double rooms, holiday rentals, and apartments. It’s the ideal starting point for relaxing days in Upper Franconia, the Czech Republic, or the Upper Palatinate. In our restaurant, you can enjoy a view of a legendary castle while savouring authentic Franconian cuisine made with products from our farm. Whether it’s meat, fish, eggs, or much more, we’ll treat you to our specialities under the motto “Fresh from the farm to your table—regional quality you’ll taste.” Families feel especially at home here; children and pets are warmly welcome. Our inn is the ideal location for exploring the surrounding area. Enjoy the impressive castle complex, hike along the banks of the idyllic Eger River, or set out on a bike ride to the Fichtelgebirge Nature Park—for example, to the Luisenburg Rock Labyrinth or neighbouring Czech Republic. Even in bad weather, the Weißenstadt Thermal Baths or other nearby spas are at your disposal. For cultural activities, you can visit the Porcelain Museum, the Car Museum, or go shopping at various outlet stores. Our fifth-generation family-run business looks forward to welcoming you. The bright and spacious double room, complete with bed linens, features two separate beds. You can spend relaxing evenings on the comfortable seating area with a TV. The bathroom, equipped with a shower and toilet, rounds out the overall experience. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. One pet is allowed for a fee of 5 EUR per pet per night. A cot can be provided upon request for a fee of 9 EUR per stay. Check-in is available between 1:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Check-out is between 1:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Keys are handed over in person on site. Payment is accepted on site in cash or by debit card. You are welcome to book breakfast on site; breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
