Just one glance out the window and you’ll see the North Sea—that’s what a holiday is all about, isn’t it? In our modern “Ferienwohnung Wellenblick” in “Haus Südwind,” just 50 metres from the boardwalk and the beach, you can look forward to a completely relaxing getaway on Wangerooge. With a cosy living room, a modern kitchen, an elegant bathroom with a shower, and a separate bedroom, it offers a comfortable retreat for up to four people (3 adults + 1 child)—perfect for a holiday with family or friends. The apartment was completely renovated in 2025, including new plumbing and electrical wiring.

You’ll start your day with a wonderful view of the sea right from your holiday breakfast. In your mind, you’re already packing your beach bag or your backpack for a walk on the beach. Warm breakfast rolls, small snacks for your outing, and delicious meals can be prepared in the modern open-concept kitchenette. High-quality appliances such as an induction stove, an oven, a microwave, a hand mixer, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a dishwasher make it easy for you to cook for yourself and enjoy cooking together in the evenings. If you’re a coffee lover, you can choose between a classic coffee maker and a capsule machine (Nespresso).

After a day at the beach or a mudflat hike, the bright living room with a sofa area and TV is the perfect place to unwind (Magenta TV and RTL plus are available for free). Or you can enjoy the unique ocean view of the North Sea waves and shipping lanes from the two recliners by the window—a wonderful holiday feeling!

When the sun sets on Wangerooge, the separate bedroom offers you a cosy retreat. It is furnished with a double bed (180 cm x 200 cm) and a fold-out bed (90 x 200 cm). A spacious closet is available for your holiday wardrobe. You’ll also enjoy a beautiful ocean view from this room. The sofa in the living room can be quickly and easily converted into a bed (without a mattress) and also serves as a sleeping area (160 x 200 cm).

The elegant bathroom, featuring a shower, sink, mirror cabinet, hair dryer, and heated towel rack, provides additional comfort.

In the entryway, there is a coat rack with space for your jackets.

You’ll have free Wi-Fi (50 Mbps) for browsing on your smartphone or laptop.

Our “Wellenblick Holiday Apartment” is also ideal for people with allergies. The floors are covered with easy-to-maintain wood parquet. Additionally, this is a pet-free, non-smoking apartment. The comforters are filled with polyester.

General Information: The apartment is located on the 1st floor. A washing machine and dryer are available for shared use, making even longer stays convenient. Bicycles can be parked in an outdoor area.

Enjoy a relaxing holiday on Wangerooge with family or friends! The island offers a unique blend of tranquility and activity: you can spend relaxing days on the fine-sand beach or go on long bike rides, sail, surf, or kiteboard.

In just a few minutes, you can reach the charming town centre, where small shops, cosy cafés, and restaurants invite you to take a stroll. The island’s cinema and the “Oase” recreational pool are also located very close to the house.

At “Haus Südwind,” we offer comfortable holiday apartments of various sizes—some with ocean views—that are beautifully furnished and accommodate two to six people.
