Very nice house but not very clean. We found dried contacts ion end tables and in the carpet in master bed room. The general cleaning was sub par. We left the house cleanerrrr than when we arrived.

.Thank you for your feedback. We maintain incredibly high standards for our home and are disappointed to hear that the cleaning fell short for your stay. We always stand ready to immediately send our cleaning team back or step in personally to resolve any issues for our guests. Because we were only notified of these concerns via VRBO messages after your departure, we unfortunately missed the opportunity to make things right while you were there. We have addressed these specific details with our cleaning staff to ensure our strict checklists are perfectly followed moving forward. Thank you, Susan

Grand Haven Summer 2023

This is the second time staying here. Convenient to a public access (short walk) and to most things in Grand Haven maybe a 10 minute drive. Overall a great location for a family vacation.

The house is dated but functional. The oven is on the same circuit as at least two other boxes and went completely off when we tried to use it. We discovered this eventually and reset a GFCI in the kitchen but couldn't use it when we needed to. The front step at the entrance is definitely not to code due to its improper height, and presents a falling hazard. A larger water heater is also needed. As far as the sliding door by the pool, you need to muster all of your strength to open and close it, as it is very old and presumably out of plumb. Other than that, the house was fine and served us well.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The air conditioning worked, the pool was clean and heated as promised, and the beds were pretty comfortable. We did not use the trundle bed, though. The bedrooms and living areas were clean. The nearest beach (about a 15-minute walk or a 2-minute drive) was just what we needed. We loved not having to fight parking at the city beach. Twice during the week there were only about 10 people there besides us. Some people have complained about the "tiny beach" or that it was much farther away than they thought. We thought it was perfect. We drove there to haul our stuff and parked on the street near the beach entrance. There was room for us to set up a small tent and beach chairs as well as space for our kids to dig in the sand. How much bigger does a beach have to be? Downtown Grand Haven was just a 7-minute drive away and we went there often. If I had this trip to do over again, I would 100% stay here.

Great pool, great location, great stay!

Property was private and the family loved the pool, and the house I think actually nicer than the pictures made it look online. :) Any/only minor issues or questions that came up on the stay were immediately responded to and soon thereafter solved by owner as well. Would love to get a chance to stay again..

Great family vacation house

The location worked perfectly for us—very quick drive to downtown Grand Haven and grocery stores. Even the 2 year old was able to walk to the beach with us! The neighborhood was very quiet and the heated pool was a big hit. The owner was very responsive. We enjoyed our visit and will probably book again in the future 😊

Great location, nice house

This house was very cozy, perfect for my family, including my 2 year old. Short walk or drive to the beach, and the pool if we weren’t feeling like going as far. The weather was absolutely perfect, so we spent lots of time outside. The property managers were very responsive to questions we had before and during our stay. Would come here again!

Relaxing getaway

Enjoyed our stay! Location is great—close enough to downtown but quiet and in the woods. Heated pool was great, especially since weather was unseasonably cool. Lots of wild fauna seen from house including deer, wild turkeys, bald eagle, red shouldered hawks, and many other native birds. Family room has comfortable furniture and kitchen has everything you need.

This was a perfect home away from home! The neighborhood is great- quiet street. Quick walk to the beach and a very short 5 min drive to downtown Grand Haven. The pool was nice and warm. My husband loved the water pressure in the house! Loved- not the right word- being ableTo do laundry there and not have to bring it all home to do. We would 100% stay again at this house.

A great place for a family getaway!

We love the area! This was our second time staying in this wonderful vacation home. It’s well maintained, spacious, private, and has everything you need. My family had a blast in the pool! The weather cooled off during our stay. The owner was very accommodating & prompt, sent someone out to adjust the heat in the pool for us. We’ve made a lot of wonderful family memories in the area & this home. We will definitely be back!

Perfect!

This house had everything! The host was easy to communicate with and the house was wonderful. We loved the very clean pool which had entry steps for our toddler. Everything in the house was immaculately clean. Plenty of different areas for us to congregate including a huge family room. Lots of games and books provided. Great location! We'll be back!

Grand Haven vacation rental

We were very pleased with the home we rented from Suson. There are two complete in separate living areas, living rooms, plus a large kitchen area, and three bedrooms. Could not have asked for more with the house. Then, there is the amazing heated, swimming pool. We enjoyed the pool every day that we were there. We definitely rent this house again. We also enjoyed visiting the beach, which is just a short walk from the house. We were able to see beautiful sunsets from that beach as well.

This is a nice house for families. It is close to a small private beach (walkable) and also close to grand Haven Beach (a few minute drive), which is a nice, larger beach. The pool is what makes this house. The grandkids had a great time swimming as did the adults! It also has a nice kitchen and outdoor grilling area to eat in some of your meals.
