Start with a wine tasting at one of the nearby wineries in the Cognac region, cycle along the Charente river landscape and explore the idyllic villages of Saintes and Cognac. Visit the abbey of Saint-Amant-de-Boixe or the Roman amphitheatre in Saintes, go on a canoe tour or hike through the Marais Poitevin nature park.
