Looking for a break from the stresses of everyday life? The Chalet Heimatzeit is the perfect place for just that. Nestled in a quiet rural setting, this modern, well-equipped lodging is the ideal destination for couples or small groups of friends. Special highlights include the year-round heated hot tub—which is perfect for watching the sunset—and the Finnish panoramic sauna, from which you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the forest edge.
Chalet Heimatzeit is located right between the Upper Bavarian Forest and the Upper Palatinate Lake District. Here, numerous lakes offer opportunities to relax or enjoy beautiful bike rides. A bike path runs right past the chalet. The surrounding area also has plenty to offer for walkers and hikers. The Bavarian Forest captivates with countless attractions such as the treetop walk or the glassblowing paradise. Culture enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy in Regensburg, about 30 minutes away—a city with an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
To live up to our motto, “Arrive. Feel at home,” we paid special attention to the little details when furnishing Heimatzeit. That’s why, in addition to the basics like towels and toilet paper, you’ll also find items such as shampoo and shower gel, as well as spices and coffee. All those little things you don’t immediately think of when packing, but that are essential even on holiday. We wanted to create a place that invites you to linger and relax—a temporary home away from home.
