PET RULES We allow up to 2 dogs, no cats, birds, or other animals I have not encounter in the rental business. Dogs must house trained. House trained does NOT mean urinating on a pad. It would advisable for owners to allow the loved ones several outside trips throughout the day. Damage charges will be assessed if urine damage occurs. If your dog is a spaded female and your visit occurs during her period the pet must have a pet diaper. The dogs MUST be supervised while outside at all times. If your dog is not well trained and won’t come when called then the furry friend must be leashed or contained during the outdoor time. When your pet relives it’s bowel it is the expectation that the owner will immediately provide pick of the bowel movement. If the owner doesn’t have poop bags the landlord will provide them. While inside the cottage the animal also needs to be supervised or crated. Animals should not be left alone for long periods of time, (i.e., over 2hours). Please realized this is a new and strange location to your loved one, and likely will be scared without you in this unfamiliar space. So they act differently than at home, until they are accustom to being in a familiar space without their loved one. IT DOES NOT HAPPEN IMMEDIATLY. Please be a responsible pet owner and a courteous tenant during your time at Judy’s cabin. Property access, as per VRBO I must tell you how to access the property. Since I don't want to publicly broadcast this for your safety. Once you book the property please reach out and I will shares the access information. This has worked safely for a decade. Since this property is located in a quiet neighborhood we have NEVER had any trouble like urban environments experience.

It was nice that the host was nearby and that we had a chance to get to know them.Very pretty setting on the lake with a beautiful lawn for sitting out and watching the sunsets.Accommodations inside the cottage were clean and well suited for the two of us.

We had such a relaxing family vacation. Oliver was such a great host! The cottage is perfect for a family getaway, right on the lake our daughter had so much fun fishing and swimming. The lot has a huge yard for many fun games too, will definately vacation here again.
The cabin was very clean with an amazing view of olcott lake! With a beautiful back yard that leads directly to the dock which gives you direct accessibility to the water. Cabin includes everything you need to enjoy a lakeside adventure. Oliver & Judy were amazing. Very laid back and accommodating. Plan on coming back soon! The fishing was absolutely amazing!

Erica and Duane were excellent tenants and anyone would be pleased to host them.
They sure can fish as well!
Mindy and Oliver are great hosts who are communicative and accommodating. We enjoyed the kayaks available and exploring the lake. The cabin is well stocked with dishware to cook at home meals. Perfect for our long-term stay needs.
The little cottage was perfect for me and my dog. The owners are very responsive and check in was really easy. The location is good -it’s close to shopping and restaurants. The property is right on the lake and the owner has a nice pontoon to rent for fishing and riding around the lake. There is a very big yard which my dog and I enjoyed.
A nice quiet location at the end of a dead end street. The yard was large enough to play frisbee with our dog and being waterfront allowed her to jump in and swim. We greatly appreciated having a boat available for rent. Overall a nice quiet vacation.

Amazing time.
Rented the cabin for the weekend with some friends. It was super clean when we arrived and the owners (and their pups) are the greatest! They both came over and introduced themselves and reassured us if we needed anything to let them know. Beautiful view of the water and lots of yard room for different activities. I would definitely stay here again!
What a gorgeous location and the owners couldn’t have been any more wonderful. We had a couple of old dogs with us and while we were loading in they noticed one slipping on the floors. The next thing you know they are at the door with an armful of rolled up rugs to help her get around. Amazing. The quiet mornings spent sipping coffee on the porch listening to the birds as the mist rises off of the lake were a highlight. I wished we were staying longer so we could have explored more of the lakes. It was only a short drive to hiking, breweries and restaurants and found plenty of dog friendly options in the area. Overall a fantastic stay and we would go back in a heartbeat.

Another Amazing trip to The Cabin this year!
We had another wonderful week at Judy’s cabin! The new WiFi that Oliver and Mindy had put in could be picked up from the middle of the lake for those with concerns 🤣 We spent most of our time on the pontoon whether it be fishing or hanging out swimming at the sand bar. We caught several different varieties: large mouth bass, small mouth bass, rock bass, perch, and blue gill. The bed was comfy, Matt said it was the best sleep he’s gotten in awhile. Plenty of room in the yard for corn hole and frisbee with the kids and dogs. We had several family members up during the week to enjoy the beautiful lakes and make some great memories. Our family can’t wait to come back again next summer! The Mahl/Bogart family
Perfect spot for time away while visiting with friends. Loved the doggie check ins and nighttime lake quiet. Thank you for being available if needed and for a pleasant week
Host went above and beyond my expectations. Very friendly and welcoming, Was the perfect Father's Day getaway. Was looking for somewhere nearby that would allow us to bring our 7 month old puppy. Property was extremely clean and had more amenities than expected. Really enjoyed sitting outside looking at the water and watching the boats go by. The host offers pontoon rental which was so relaxing to cruise around the 3 lakes on, a paddle boat and canoes. I would definitely return as well as recommend this property to others.

Laid Back Living
The owners are available and very attentive.
The communication between the guests and hosts using Vrbo lacked in prompt response, especially during critical timing gates. We ended up resolving this directly. Owners have great hopitality.

I am sorry if the communication tool via VRBO was not to your satisfaction. Sometimes it is a challenge to have to sign into VRBO to get messages while travelling (i.e., using my phone) on the small device. Guest are always welcome to call my cell number, or come to my house which is next door to the rental.
The property is very clean, quiet and everything you need is there. Owner lives next door and is happy to accommodate. The pontoon ran perfectly both days and is nothing to look at but great for fishing which is all we wanted. Our dog was welcomed and enjoyed being with us and not left at home. If you are looking for fancy this is not the place for you but if you love casual laid back life like us you will find everything you need staying here.
Our friends who used the cottage throughly enjoyed their stay.

Great location, great owners!
We loved our days at this little cottage. The lakes are awesome & I recommend taking advantage of the free kayaks & peddle boat! We also rented their pontoon for 3 of our days there and thoroughly enjoyed taking it to the sandbar on the big lake. Oliver & Mindy we’re great! They have 2 dogs that are very friendly & will visit if you’re outside. If a relaxing time on the water is what you’re looking for, this place is perfect!
We did also enjoy the small surrounding towns in the evenings for dinner or ice cream. Plenty of choices if you don’t want to cook.

Get away to Judy’s cabin !!!!
My family of four loved Judy’s cabin and The Lindsey’s . We spent 4 days at this cute cabin. Everything we read in the reviews was positive and everything was exactly as we expected . The Lindsey’s are nice folk who made sure we had everything we needed to have some great family time . The bed was very comfortable , lots of hot water in the updated bathroom and a great washer and drier . Paddle boat and kayaks are in great shape and we spent lots of time enjoying the smaller lake . The property is large and well kept, the neighborhood quiet and private. We rented the pontoon boat and spent hours swimming , visiting the sand bar and exploring . Even on the weekend there is plenty of space on the3 lakes to enjoy. A surprise that we really enjoyed were the parachutists jumping almost directly over the cabin all weekend long, and the biplanes also!! Really cool!! Oliver was great about hustling to keep the boats gas tank full for us and spent time sharing his hobbies with my husband and kids . Our weekend was everything we needed and wanted we will recommend to our friends .

About the host
Hosted by Oliver Lindsay
Oliver Lindsay and Mindy McClain have been in the Jackson area for the last tent years and purchased this cottage next to the permanent residence. They would like to share the lake living experience that they have come to love.
Why they chose this property
This property is special because it is located on a chain of lakes and allows for all types of water activities from paddle sports to ski boats.
What makes this property unique
The cottage is accessed via a private road and has a large lot unlike many lakefront properties that tend to be close together and have a lack of privacy.
