This is a Beautiful and Spacious apartment in a truly unique location on Oahu...An uncrowded stunning beach on the Sunny/Dry Leeward side of the island. This 4th floor, 1250 sq ft. unit includes a private wrap-around lanai where you can relax and take in the breathtaking views of both the Ocean and the Mountains.

The apartment has a large air-conditioned bedroom featuring a brand new King sized bed, smart-TV and attached bathroom with a walk-in shower (plus access to the lanai). Although there is no AC available in the living room, the island cross breeze usually negates the need...The ceiling fan & a stand-up fan are also there if needed.

The very comfortable living room boasts a brand new sleeper sofa & Smart TV. The large granite dining table seats 6!

This is a fully furnished & equipped apartment complete with linens, a large capacity washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave & toaster oven, etc.

Wi-Fi is Free.

The Open & Bright fully-equipped kitchen has a fantastic view of the beach, ocean and mountains while you prepare meals and dine.

You can enjoy snorkeling & swimming at our beach or go for a walk along the shoreline. You can also see Humpback Whales in the winter and other sea-life all year-round right from your big lanai (you are guaranteed to spot green sea turtles!).

View of beach and ocean from lanai is great. Apartment could use a little tlc but is well furnished with updated appliances. Provided coolers and beach chairs come in handy. Beach was safe and secure. Neighborhood not the greatest, but easy travel to anywhere on island. Pool was out of service last part of our week.

We had a good stay at the condo. Most of our time at the condo was on the lanai, the inside of the condo was still decorated from the 70’s. Mirrors on the walls really need to go, a simple coat of paint would work wonders.

This was a great comfortable place to stay. With the beach right there on two sides, nice bed and couches, fully equipped kitchen, what’s not to love. My daughter said on our last day, “I could stay here a month.” If we return to Hawaii next summer, and the plan is to do so, we hope to get the same place again.

Relaxation

The location of the resort was great, had a private feel. The condo was in need of a little TLC and updating but the 2 sided balcony made up for it! Would stay here again.

Our Happy Place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Comfortable, great view! We were able to relax, listen to waves and watch amazing sunsets! Very quiet beach this time of year, children and adults playing and laughing, having a great time. This is definitely a “ Do it again!”

Makaha Hawaiian Princess

We enjoyed our week-long vacation. The Hawaiian Princess' location on a quiet beach was just what we needed. Despite having just 1 bedroom, we were able to sleep 5 comfortably using a futon and sofa bed. We appreciated Ed's friendly tips on sights to see in the local area.

Great View!

This has the best views and can hear the ocean all day and night long. The only thing that we experienced negatively was the place could really use a face lift. Outdated furnishings and decor as well as the AC unit gave out while there. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful and quiet

Even though our location was an hour away from most things, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. The peace and quiet and very few people was just what we were looking for. The view from the balcony was perfect. The snorkeling right out front was perfect and watching the sea turtles along the rock wall or swimming right by us was incredible! We will definitely stay here again with our family of 5 if we return.

Beachfront condo

Location to the beach and it’s views could not be beat! It is not as updated as some, but the price reflects that. Condo is well stocked with beach gear and most of what you need in the kitchen.

Beautiful view

This is on the beach with beautiful view and gorgeous sunsets. It has all you want for cooking, and going to the beach. The Beach House restaurant is on the water and food is good. Also an organic farm is a short ride for lunch. If your into golf there is one here but just coming out of bankruptcy and needs some work

Stunning views

I had read all of the info and reviews of the property, so I knew what to expect. The unit is older and could use some TLC, but still very comfy and had all we needed. We loved the bed, which was super comfortable! We cooked a number of meals and everything worked just fine. Looking forward to visiting again! Ed and Nohea were very helpful and easy to work with.

Enjoyable 2 week stay

We enjoyed how the property was situated on the beach which was long enough for a nice walk. My daily swim was great and I even saw fish while doing so. The sunsets were lovely. Security was excellent. Grounds were kept up. We appreciated having a walk-in shower in the unit. We ate most all meals in the unit which we enjoyed but the stove and oven proved somewhat of a challenge as dials were worn.

IDEAL LOCATION……but

the location was ideal and as expected. The issues we experienced included poorly maintained unit, non functioning permanent airconditioning (had temporary air conditioner in the bedroom),dishes and kitchenware was mismatched and very dated. The futon in the living area was not to be used. The cooking appliances were dated but operable and the ice machine in the fridge was not functionable. The location was ideal and perfect

Relaxing and Beautiful

We loved our time in this unit. The wraparound lanai and spacious bedroom and living areas gave us unending sounds of ocean waves, allowing us to breathe deeper. The unit was well stocked with towels, sheets, as well as toiletries and detergents. The view from the 4th floor is lovely as you are at eye level with the palm trees and it's a short elevator ride too. We are really looking forward to coming back and staying here again. It was wonderful and exactly what we needed. Thank you!

Less than expected

We stayed in this unit 15 years ago and we were somewhat disappointed that it hadn’t been updated since then. It is a corner unit on the beach with a wonderful ocean view. The unit could use a more thorough cleaning but I realize if the owners haven’t been there regularly they would not now

A Great Place to Stay

Overall, this is a great place to stay. The condo building is right on the ocean, so the moment you arrive you hear the waves and can't help but feel the aloha. The private lanai is spacious and looks up the beach. The town is almost as far away as you can get from all the tourists, and the beach only had a handful of people on it at its most crowded. What the neighborhood lacks in glamour, it makes up for in authenticity. The building and the unit leave a little bit to be desired in terms of lacking updates, but if that's not important to you, everything worked just fine. Aside from a large stain on the mattress, the unit was quite clean. The weather was so nice in January that we did not need to use the air conditioning. The owners were helpful and easy to communicate with, and check in/out went smoothly. If you want somewhere to get away from the crowds, listen to the waves, and sit on the lanai to watch the sunset, this is the place.

Missing the view from the lanai already

The Hawaiian Princess was a great place to stay and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The access to the beach and the amenities (gas BBQ grills, tennis courts) were just what we were looking for. Very secure and very safe and we felt that way the entire time we were here. The unit was exactly as described and we knew what to expect and had a great time. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The breezes through the multiple sliding doors in the unit were great. Temps did get a little warm during the day, but the A/C in the master bedroom was perfect to sleep at night. Loved it so much we did not want to go home and are already planning our next trip.

Nothing like a corner unit at Hawaiian Princess

We have stayed at this condo building many times over 20 years. Quiet, swimmable beach with gorgeous views. This was our first time in this unit. Typically opt for higher floors but now have a new favorite floor (4th) - puts you right at height of the palm trees and above the beach but not too far up. This unit is comfortable and has both big indoor and outdoor tables to seat the family comfortably. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable king bed. Beach chairs & sand toys. It is not an updated unit but has been kept well & was clean. Owner very responsive with questions & has a housekeeper that can meet you on arrival. Definitely recommend!

Nice condo

We have stayed in this building 6 times and we love it. We love staying away from the hustle and bustle. This was our first stay in a corner unit. The corners are well worth the money. This particular unit lacked in amenities. The knives in the kitchen barely cut your food and the toaster oven makes terrible toast. Being so far out there isn’t the luxury of going out to eat so be prepared to make all your own food, which we enjoy but having subpar kitchen amenities was annoying.

If R&R is your mission, this is the place to stay

We have visited the island multiple times in the past decade and always find that we return and love the Waianae region of Oahu. This condo's location is located on a beautiful beach. The views of the turquoise color waters and golden sand are mesmerizing, the sunsets cannot be beat. You can hear the surf clear into the bedroom, we slept so good during our stay. The condo is a well equipped end unit and was perfect for a few home cooked meals. The views from the living room onto the surf or side view back to the mountains are stunning. You will need a rental car here as this location is a minimum 45 min drive down the coast to the freeway and access points to anywhere on the island. The location is situated In rural Hawaii, and not a tourist destination. Be kind and respectful when vjsitjng

Great Stay!

My husband & I enjoyed our stay. This corner unit condo was clean, comfortable & had everything we could possibly need. The best part was the AMAZING oceanfront views!!! Even though it was hot when we visited (89* - 90*), the condo was comfortable considering all the screened doors and fans providing a cooling cross breeze. We only used the air conditioner in the bedroom once for a few hours. We found the beach to be very clean & often times we saw very few people there. We felt we had the beach to ourselves. The staff at the Hawaiian Princess were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us since we wanted quiet & relaxation. The sights we wanted to visit were a reasonable driving distance. We will miss having our morning coffee & watching the sunsets on the lanai. Thank you Gail & Ed for sharing your comfortable condo with us! :-)

Great location but the unit is not worth the daily cost.

The appliances in this unit look to be original to the condo which is 40 years old. They are so old the letters/numbers on the stove and oven are worn off. Since there aren't many sit down restaurants available I cooked for the 12 nights were were there and it was not easy because the appliances are too old to work properly. Couldn't tell if I had the oven on 350 or 400. Food didn't cook properly. Not what I want when on vacation.

It is Gorgeous. Our folks fell in love with the beach and condo at first sight when they were lucky enough to visit here way back in the 80's!! They knew immediately that this was the place we wanted to be. THERE IS NO MORE BEAUTIFUL SPOT ON EARTH!
Fast forward to the 2000's and this is some of the last "Real Country" left on Oahu. We are close enough to the bigger stores and other tourist areas, but are always so glad to come HOME to Waianae. We are confident that you will also feel at HOME in our place. This is Genuine Hawaii!!

The weather here is as dry and sunny as it gets on the island and our unit is in an ideal private spot. It offers the best views and comfort for excellent value & relaxation. It's AAA: Aloha Available Always :)
