About this property

We have a 30 day minimum for February and March 2024. We require a 7 day stay during the week of July 4th. Gulf View is back on the rental market! The Gulf View Beach House offers 2 bedrooms, all of the amenities you could ask for, and beautiful views of the beach. The free trolley picks you up on the corner to take you exploring and there are restaurants, bars and shopping within walking distance! Walk the beach, look for dolphins playing in the surf, relax with your toes in the water and read a book. The house comes complete with beach chairs, beach umbrellas, charcoal grill, an outdoor shower, wireless internet, washer and dryer, beach towels and more! We do limit the number of people staying or visiting the house to a total of 4 people. We want to keep this place in great shape. We have parking behind the house for 2 cars. Convenience and location makes this the perfect vacation Getaway! Just to be fair, at this time, there is road work going on in front of the house.

Birthday Trip

Headed to the beach for my birthday celebration. Bruce’s condo was very well equipped and nice. We used the beach chairs and umbrella provided at the condo. Traveled with the island trolley and bus for free all week. No car rental needed after Ubering from Sarasota airport. Excellent beach weather!

Perfect Place, Perfect Location

Great property with 2 bedrooms/1 bath across the street from the beach. Walking distance to Bridge Street shops and restaurants. Had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend. Owner was very responsive and helpful.

Spring break for the Kids

I saw this island on Tictoc and knew I had to go, I found this charming home on VRBO, it was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 teenage boys. The home is in the perfect location. No other homes blocking the view of the ocean. The trolley stop is right in front of the house. This home is affordable as well. Everything we needed was there. The owner was quick to respond. I would totally recommend this home. They are doing road construction in front of the house, it is going on all over the island. They are also building a house right behind this one and they start work bright and early at 7 AM. That did not take away from this home. I am an early riser anyway, our teenagers could sleep thru a bomb dropping. If anything it encouraged me to get up and enjoy the peaceful morning on the beach before everyone came out.

Beach life

Location was great, especially bicycle friendly!! There are so many things to do in the area. House is nice and roomy. A quirky older home that is clean and fun. Had lots of windows to enjoy the outdoors!! Right across from the beach. What’s not to like. Lots of parking for friends. Large bathroom with washer and dryer. Bruce the manager is the perfect host. Always answered every question and request. Thank you Bruce! We would totally return!!
