Good Time Had By All
We were in Sayulita for Semana Santa, and the Buena Vista penthouse at Los Almendros was well suited for an enjoyable time. Easy walk into town and to all the beaches, but located perfectly for a little bit of peace and quiet at the end of the day. The grounds are exceptionally well maintained and the staff at the property were all very nice and helpful. The pool was a hit with the teenagers, as was the private jacuzzi on the deck of the penthouse. The breezes blew freely through the unit when all of the sliding glass doors were open, which made for very pleasant lounging in the late afternoon and evenings. We stayed 9 days and never felt like we needed a rental car or golf cart. We hiked up to San Pancho (San Francisco) one afternoon, along the beach and through the jungle. A very nice trail and a great way to spend an afternoon.
Vrbo was new for this particular property, so there were some communication issues when we arrived, but those were resolved relatively quickly. The onsite staff were also very responsive to any issues that we encountered.
