Charming & spacious 3 BED, 2 BATH home! Next to pool, beach & bike trails!

A luxurious and charming home located directly across the street from the beach in the award winning and magazine featured, Village of Tannin. The community is centrally located between Orange Beach and Gulf Shores with restaurants, entertainment, shopping and attractions all reasonably accessed with a short drive or walk. The Village of Tannin features Seaside inspired beautiful homes, private low-traffic brick streets, nature trails, and an Olympic-size swimming pool for your enjoyment and relaxation. Short walk to the beach by pressing the crosswalk light that stops traffic and lets you easily cross over to the sand!

This recently remodeled and upgraded (3 bedroom / 2 bath) two story home features gorgeous hardwood floors both upstairs and downstairs, custom cabinets, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops throughout. The kitchen allows for bar stool seating at the island, but also has a dining table which seats six and is open to the den. The open floor layout boasts a two story living area with exposed beams and directional dormers which allows for plenty of light in the space. The entire exterior, interior, roof and furnishings were updated in 2021.

The large master bedroom is tucked away on the main floor providing privacy from the other two bedrooms upstairs. It has hardwood floors, a king sized bed, mounted flat screen television and a spacious walk-in closet with built in shelving and cabinet. There is an on suite bathroom with a large double vanity, granite counters and shower.

The second floor has two bedrooms each with queen size beds, closets and flat screen televisions mounted to the walls. Brand new hardwood floors were added throughout the house in 2021. Both bedrooms have access to a full hall bath with granite countertops and tub / shower . A hallway closet on the main floor includes a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience. Quality contemporary furnishings and modern amenities (such as WIFI, large flat screen on entertainment center) make this space a comfortable and relaxing home away from home.

Enjoy morning coffee and sunrises on the private back porch or relax after a long day on the beach in one of the rocking chairs on the large front porch. Take bike ride or jog through the nearby state park or fish and kayak in the lakes in the community. Enjoy Village Tannin’s private deeded beach access way where you will enjoy the uncrowded beach away from the high rise condo crowds.

Hey Greg! Glad you enjoyed Birdie’s Nest! The two story open concept layout seems to work great for families and guests. I agree the summer heat can be brutal. Great family beach house

Our family stayed here for a week and loved our first visit to Orange Beach! The owner was super communicative and the community felt safe and easy trip up to the beach. Golf cart rental is a must though. Adorable decor and comfy beds. My Overall loved our stay and would definitely visit Orange Beach again

Family beach time

We attended a family wedding celebration at Gulf Shores state park. Everyone else stayed at the Lodge at the State Park but we prefer a house. This house was perfect for us. It is only a couple of miles from the State Park and a short walk to the beach.

Great Vacation!

We loved staying in this cute house! The neighborhood is quaint, the pool is nice, and house was perfect. We rented a golf cart to easily go to and from the beach and that worked out great. The house itself is fully stocked with whatever you should need. There was plenty of room for us and kids plus a friend. Would definitely book Birdie's Nest again!

Everything was great!

We rented this cute spot for 3 nights. Everything was great, it served our needs and had plenty of space to spread out for our family of four. The pool was a very short walk and it was large in size. Few people were there which made it even better. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. Should we decide to return to Orange Beach we would certainly book again.

The property was really nice and was everything we were looking for. When we arived we had some issues with the place not being clean, but Lee was very helpful in getting that taken care of. Other then the house not being cleaned everything else was great. We would definitely recommend it to a friend and we would come back forsure.

Alec, Thank you for the review. In regards to the house not being clean let me add some clarity. I had personally stayed the night before and checked out a day earlier than expected so that we could offer the house to you for an extra day at the beach free. While I was there I dusted around the fans, changed the air filters and did some other work. Apparently the cleaning company missed some of the dust bunnies that had fallen from the work I had done. So we had them go back and reclean the house again immediately. We apologize for this inconvenience but hope the extra free day at the beach was worth the trouble. Thanks, Austin and Lee

We all enjoyed our stay. Cottage was clean. Nicely decorated. Comfortable living space. Slept great downstairs in king bed. Family upstairs thought mattresses were in poor shape. No kitchen garbage bags.

Hey Anne! So glad you loved the home and neighborhood. I used to leave boxes of trash bags / laundry detergent etc. Unfortunately, guests would end up taking the entire box and next renters would be left without. We stay booked up pretty regularly through the spring summer and fall so I can’t check in between every renter as I’m 5 hours away. My cleaner provides everyone with a starter pack of items including trash bag but now I just include in the welcome email for families to bring an extra few of their own. I hate I’m not able to provide those time household items but they end up just walking away.

Great vacation rental

We absolutely loved the house and the overall vibe of the neighborhood. We did end up renting golf carts to go to the beach because it is a bit of a lengthy walk. Also beach chairs at the house were rusty and moldy. Ended up buying our own chairs. Other than that everything was wonderful!!!

Hey Robert! I’m glad you were able to rent a golf cart and guests have access to that option. It’s about a 7 minute walk door to sand but if you have a large group and stuff to carry, the wagon provided at the house is definitely not as easy as a golf cart. I’ve debated investing in one and providing a rental option to guests, but haven’t been able to secure one just yet! Maybe by your next visit! I did also buy new beach chairs, but guests often bring or buy their own / or leave them / or take the ones I provide and don’t return. My hope is there are always chairs at the house for guests to use but I can’t guarantee for every visit during the summer months as it’s booked back to back and I do not live local. I appreciate your feedback and glad you enjoyed the house and neighborhood!

Really nice! However the TV’s upstairs did not work the entire time. Also the lights in one bedroom did not work, only one lamp would come on as a light. You really need to check these problems out before someone else stays. Other than that everything else was really nice!
