Experience the idyllic charm of our farm in the heart of Zurich's wine country, close to the Thurauen nature centre. Our family-friendly part-time farm, which specialises in fruit, vine and arable farming, not only offers you proximity to the magnificent floodplain landscape, but also a unique holiday experience with small animals and a playground that will make children's hearts beat faster.
Our bright and wheelchair-accessible ground-floor flat is ideal for families or groups who appreciate comfort. It has a large parlour with 3 beds, a triple room, a kitchen-cum-living room and a shower/WC. The modern facilities include an internet connection and a practical capsule coffee machine. For younger guests, there are plenty of toys, a cot, high chair, children's crockery, fall-out protection and a pushchair (buggy) available to make their stay as comfortable as possible.
A veritable play paradise awaits you outside. A giant trampoline and a tree hut provide endless entertainment, while you can get up close and personal with real farming on our farm. There is the opportunity to help feed the animals, and cats, chickens, rabbits and dwarf goats look forward to being discovered by you. The surrounding area offers wonderful hiking trails, cycle paths and bike trails for sports and leisure activities.
Berg am Irchel, our picturesque farming village with around 350 inhabitants, is located between Winterthur and Schaffhausen. Experience our traditional timber-framed houses, which are in full bloom in summer. The region offers numerous excursion possibilities such as the Rhine Falls, the Technorama or a boat trip on the Rhine.
