It is nestled between Lake Edersee and the forests of the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life on the edge of the village of Basdorf. Arriving in a place of tranquillity, on the first evening you can only hear a slight rustling in your ears, which cannot let go of the noises of everyday life so quickly :-). This makes the house ideal for those seeking relaxation and nature lovers. Pure nature. The property is completely fenced so that dogs can run free.
You can reach the Edersee on foot in 2 km on a walk through the forest. Or you can take the car and drive to the bathing beach in the Fürstental valley in just a few minutes. Although there is a sign prohibiting traffic, you can drive along the road as there is a campsite and a recommended restaurant on the beach, which is frequented by many visitors. The village of Vöhl is only 1 km away and offers shopping facilities, especially for local produce. Numerous hiking trails can be explored from the front door.
