Wonderful landscapes and a peaceful ambienceThe small village of Strassen is located at 1098 metres above sea level in East Tyrol, close to the Dolomites and the Hochpustertal and Helmbahnen ski areas. The Töldererhof is located in the centre of Strassen, surrounded by an extensive landscape. The view of the Dolomites is best from here.
Thanks to its central location, many sights and attractive leisure activities are within easy reach. A cross-country ski trail starts right next to the holiday home which, thanks to the lighting, can also be used at night. The Turnthaler ski area can be reached in just 5 minutes by car. Another 10 minutes by car and you are in the Helmbahnen ski area, and hikes in the surrounding mountains guarantee great views and unforgettable holidays in Austria. A dense network of hiking trails and the dreamlike nature guarantee unique experiences, and the valley also knows how to impress. Leisurely walks are possible and the landscape is ideal for cycling tours.
The Tassenbach reservoir near the village of Strassen has been declared a protected landscape and the 1.5 km long nature trail offers you an insight into the wetland biotope and bird paradise. The lake is a very popular destination, especially on hot summer days, and the culinary delights are not neglected either. In the immediate vicinity there is everything from regional specialities in the cosy alpine hut to a 4-star hotel. It is also possible to buy organic and natural products directly from the farm.
