The Byzantine church of Panagia set on a hill-balcony - just 100 m from the house- offers unique sunset views of the Aegean sea & the island, while island's mostly famous points : Zia's sunset balcony and endless golden Tigaki beach are few min away.
The house combining the age-old airy, bright and perfectly adapted to nature- simple architecture of the islands - where the white of the light and the blue of the sea dominates- is 80% energy efficient, cool in summer and warm in winter.It has a modern kitchen, a mini living room with a sofa and working desk, wooden loft-bedroom reached by a wooden ladder, according to old-traditional ιnterior design .The exterior spaces are in perfect harmony with the green and energetic nature next to a garden with flowers, neighboring estates with trees and other traditional houses of the village with hospitable and kind people.
The small village of Lagoudi lies around 14 km from Kos town and island's main port while "Ippokratis"- ( KGS) Kos international airport is 16 km away . It is situated quite high on the hills and overlooks the plain, the Tigkaki Salt Pan. Behind it, the mount Dikaios range of mountains is quite an overwhelming sight. The village is surrounded by enchanting landscape full of lush greenery and vast plantation while it retains much of its rural character. Ιt is worth seeing the beautiful church of Agios Ioannis Theologos which is stands on the massive rocks.
