The house is a 2-minute walk from the bakery and the nearest supermarket and the centre of the village are also within 3-4 minutes walking distance. At the beginning of the village you pass the health centre and 2 pharmacies, a paediatrician and dentist are also within easy reach if required.
The flat has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. Another person can sleep on the fold-out couch in the living room. A baby cot is also available. Babies and toddlers weighing up to 15 kilograms can sleep safely in there if required. The kitchenettes are fully equipped: Coffee machine, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, electric cooker, fridge and iron. In the bathroom you will find a washing machine and hairdryer. Hot water is supplied to the bathroom and kitchen by the solar system on the roof. A large flat screen TV hangs on the wall in the living room. A satellite dish on the roof ensures good reception of many German, English, French, Russian, Italian, Spanish and Turkish channels. Free Wifi is available. English and German books can be found in our bookshelf next to the front door should you get bored. Each flat has air conditioning in the living area and since 2024 also in the bedroom with the double bed.
The spacious terrace invites you to enjoy a cosy breakfast in the morning. You can also enjoy a glass of wine there in the evening under the subtle lighting of the stone wall to your left.
Our barbecue/BBQ is located next to the small house in the same courtyard, which offers parking for 2 cars for both flats.
For babies and toddlers, a baby cot and baby high chair are available on request, which means 5 people plus a baby. Luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. Storage facilities for a total of 8 mountain bikes in a separate building on the property, should you wish to bring them with you.
The nearest beach "Trani Ammouda" is only 10 minutes away by car. The bakery, supermarket, butcher's shop, greengrocer's shop and the square with cafés, pizzeria, bougatzerie and restaurants, ice cream parlours and snack bars are all within a 3 to 5 minute walk. Every Thursday there is a weekly market in the village of Agios Nikolaos with fresh fruit and vegetables, including live Greek music in the heart of the village on Wednesdays and Fridays. Agios Nikolaos is located on the Sithonia peninsula. The village is right next to the forest, where you can go hiking or mountain biking (early and late season). In sunny weather you can hire a boat and explore the island of Diaporos, opposite Vourvourou. There are marvellous sandy beaches with crystal clear blue water all over Sithonia.
In spring, usually on Good Friday, the first boat trips to the Holy Mount Athos begin. The harbour of Ormos Panagias is 10 minutes away by car.
