Ankerplatz 18, vacation apartment lighthouse in Cuxhaven-Duhnen for adults

Our guesthouse, Ankerplatz 18, with 4 holiday apartments, is located just 450 metres from the North Sea beach, in the beautiful Duhnen area, on a quiet side street. It can accommodate up to 4 people. The base rate covers 2 people; for each additional person, we charge an extra €10 per night, and there is a one-time fee of €20 for an additional linen package. The second sleeping area is located in the converted pointed archway and features a sleeper sofa. It is accessible via a space-saving staircase. This is not recommended for guests with limited mobility or who have difficulty walking. Additionally, this apartment has a balcony that is furnished with outdoor furniture from spring through fall. The wellness area is equipped with an infrared sauna, a Peloton bike, a whirlpool, a shower/toilet, and a kitchenette for tea or water. This area can be used exclusively for 2 hours per day per holiday apartment. Between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., you can choose a 2-hour time slot and sign up on the notice board in front of the spa. To help you relax right away, you’ll find made-up beds and towels waiting for you. Laundry washing and drying are available upon request through the staff. For entertainment, we offer free Netflix access and Wi-Fi. The town centre of Duhn, with its wide range of leisure activities, is just a few minutes’ walk away. Nearby you’ll also find the Ahoi Water Park, several restaurants, the Adventure Golf Park, the Itjen Bakery, the Duhn Fish Market, Gosch, beach shops, and much more. Enjoy the nearby fine-grained sandy beach, the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site, the North Sea, the coastal heathland, and the vast Werner Forest. For day trips, we recommend a mudflat cart ride to the island of Neuwerk, a boat trip to the seal colonies or the offshore island of Heligoland, a visit to the Windstärke 10 Museum in Döse, or the Wadden Sea Museum in Sahlenburg. You’ll find further inspiration in our guest information folder on site. Our holiday rental is allergy-friendly, so smoking and bringing pets are not permitted.
