On the fine, partially developed Glyfada beach directly below the house – as well as on the small Valtaki Bay a little further west – you won't find any snack bars or loud music. Instead, you can swim in the clear water and sunbathe undisturbed in the small dunes. A tavern above the beach, about halfway to the accommodation, offers good, traditional Greek cuisine.

If you like to enjoy a little city life on holiday, don't want to travel long distances for your daily errands and still want to live in a quiet and natural environment, this is the perfect location for you. The nearby picturesque town of Gythio, with its harbour promenade, nice shops, taverns, cafés, ATMs and bars, offers a pleasant change from the quiet surroundings of the house. The location of the Konstantinos holiday accommodation is an ideal starting point for excursions and forms the gateway to both the wild and romantic Mani and the eastern ‘finger’ of Laconia, to Monemvasia or to the beautiful island of Elafonisos. A visit to the Byzantine Mystras to the north is also well worth it.
