The area around your holiday home in Volkel also has a lot to offer. The BillyBird Hemelrijk amusement park with many attractions and a beautiful recreational lake is just around the corner. For a day of shopping, you can visit the towns of Uden, Gemert and Helmond. Take a lovely walk through the Voskuilenheuvel peeland park. Visit Nuenen, the former home of Vincent van Gogh and follow in the footsteps of this world-famous painter on a walk through the historic centre with the Vincentre museum, the picturesque Van Gogh church and his former residence. The cities of 's-Hertogenbosch and Eindhoven are recommended for a nice day trip.
