Hawkins Ridge Lodge - Enjoy the Southern Comfort living

Hawkins Ridge Lodge will provide you with some of the finest accommodations found anywhere! Our lodge is a comfortable lodge with large sectional sofas and a huge stone fireplace to relax and enjoy the fellowship. Our lodge is also equipped with a spacious game room where you can enjoy a game of billiards or cards. The lodge has central heat and air condition. Our huge front porch and back deck is perfect to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of country living. You will have access to a commercial kitchen with a large 3 door refrigerator, commercial stove, convection oven, freezer and a large ice machine to make it easy to prepare meals. The dinning room area with two large tables will seat 16 guest. There is also a large gas grill .You will find all of the cooking utensil needed to prepare meals for a large or small group.

There are 7 bedrooms with a total of 16 beds. The bedrooms are set up to have all the privacy you will need. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. The lodge has a washer, dryer and towels, and linens provided.

The Lodge is conveniently nestled 15 miles west of Eufaula Alabama. While visiting historic Eufaula you will find numerous antique and thrift shops. Lake Eufaula is known for one of the best bass fishing lakes in the country. There are also 2 public golf courses in Eufaula.

The lodge is located in the middle of 400 acres of private property. This is a perfect place to relax on the front porch. A large playground only steps from the lodge front door will keep the children entertained for hours.

The facility is a perfect place to hold corporate retreats, family reunion or just a family get away. We don't allow parties or events that would have day visitors or guests at the lodge. We can support fishing tournament guest with a safe place to park trucks and boats. Electricity is available for charging batteries for boats. There are activities for everyone to enjoy. There is plenty of safe lighted parking as well.


The lodge is spacious enough to accommodate 20 guests with plenty of area to not feel crowded. The lodge is 4500 square foot with over 2000 square foot of porches and decks. There is plenty of safe lighted parking as well.

We had a great time, the property is beautiful, the lake was a great time, the kids really enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and swimming. We stayed during the 4th of July and the host gave us a great fireworks show. Very family friendly.

This was by far our best rental on tour this year and previous years. Plenty of room for all guest will plenty of parking. There was also a lot to see entering and leaving the property. We will definitely be back. The host was more than accommodating on all our needs.

Perfect for Multigenerational Family Gathering

The owner was very friendly, helpful, and communicated well throughout. The property was exactly as described and was perfect for a multigenerational family gathering. It’s a large beautiful property with plenty to do onsite. Everyone loved paddling and swimming in the lake, hanging out in the various large rooms and using the amenities in the commercial kitchen. We will definitely stay again when we need a place to sleep a large group in the area. Highly recommend!

Family Getaway

This is a great place to get away and relax. It has everything that one needs for a great vacation. One doesn't have to leave the property to enjoy the property. The lake was great for swimming, fishing and paddle boating. Everything the one needs is right in one location with plenty of room for everyone to find something of interest. Plenty of games for family time after dinner. Would visit the location again if in the area. The host and his family were great. Would recommend to others visiting the area.

Hawkins Ridge Wedding

Our experience with Hawkins Ridge was nothing short of perfect! The lodge was spotless and ready for us to use as soon as we arrived and the owner was always close by to check on us throughout our stay. Birthday at Hawkins Ridge

We celebrated a family birthday with a total of sixteen family members. We thoroughly enjoyed the fishing boats, paddle boats, canoe, paddle board and kayak. The grandchildren enjoyed fishing and swimming. The water was surprisingly clear! The owner was very accommodating. It was a great weekend!

The Great Getaway

This place was fantastic for our family getaway and the perfect venue to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. Tons of space so everyone could spread out in the lodge. We had plenty of room for the celebration with the invited guests. The host made everything go very well form check-in to check out. From the exotic animals on the property, access to the private pond and great sunsets, it was an excellent getaway. Nothing like country living in a great lodge with so much privacy.

It's difficult to find places for our family vacation..there are 16 of us..and this year we had other families joining;;so we had 26 for a couple of days. This place was perfect for our family. Clean, accomodating, huge commercial, well-stocked kitchen, huge dining room for us to eat together, separate game room, private lake and lake house, kyacks, paddle boat, fishing boats provided, animals to observe, many trails on 400 acres, shooting ranges, inground tampolene, tours provided by our gracious hosts, washer and dryers, plenty of linens...church near by...absolutley perfect for our family!! We highly recommend Hawkins Ridge Lodge!!!

Great place for a big family to relax and have fun.

Hawkins Ridge was perfect for our family reunion of 20 people. It has the largest great room and best kitchen/dining setup we've seen for a big group. The private lake was really fun for playing and fishing. We had kids of all ages playing at the lake for 3 days with no whining about being bored. The one thing this property could use is some new mattresses. Some of them we pretty rough for sleeping.

So fun!

We had a blast! Lots to do for everyone. Great facility for a crowd. Excellent communication from owner and caretaker. My only comments are that the twin beds are not comfortable and the entire facility is quite old. But we didn’t mind too much because it was completely functional and pretty clean too. We will come back here !

Family Vacation/Gator hunt on Lake Eufaula

Our stay was perfect! We needed a place big enough for 18 people close to Lake Eufaula for the gator hunt. Except for while on Lake Eufaula, we never left the property. We occupied ourselves with helping Jake feed the animals, swimming and fishing at the lake, playing pool or cards at the lodge, relaxing on the porch, or enjoying a big family meal in the dining hall. Mr. Craig Hawkins, his son Jake, and all of the staff are excellent hosts, very accommodating, and just great people. Can’t say enough good things about them or our stay at the lodge!

Reunion/wedding

We had a great time, the property is beautiful, private and clean. We had a family reunion and wedding all at the lodge. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and addresses any issues immediately, “not that we had many”. The lodge is beautiful and well maintained. I recommend Hawkins Ridge for any event, contact the owner he will do everything in his power to make your event special! I would give it 10 stars if I could. Awesome get away

22 family and we made all our meals in the large kitchen and ate together in the dining area. Beds for everyone even though some of the kids slept on the couch, large living room. Beautiful lake with paddle boat, kayaking, fishing boats with trolling motors and a boat with AC to cool off in and play games. Craig , the owner was awesome, only a phone call away very friendly and welcoming and his son Jake took us to see the animals . We made family pictures on the front porch and the tractor in the yard, turned out beautiful. A very relaxing vacation for everyone. Great family time.
