Best location in Steamboat! Quiet complex on bus line. Great for families.

Location, location, location - best in Steamboat! Steps from two of the largest grocery stores in Steamboat: City Market and Wal-Mart. There is a Starbucks and a pharmacy in City Market, and a liquor store adjacent. The bus stops at the end of the driveway making it equally easy to get to the mountain (Gondola Square) or downtown in minutes.

The living room includes vaulted ceilings, a 47 inch HDTV with a DVR and DVD player, bluetooth speaker, free high speed wi-fi, a gas fireplace, and a door to the deck with a spectacular view of the mountain. It opens to the kitchen over an open bar. The bar seats four, and the dining table seats six. There is a propane gas grill on the deck for all your grilling needs.

The kitchen is fully appointed, with all the comforts of home. It includes a dishwasher, electric stove/oven, microwave, garbage disposal, crock pot, full set of pots and pans, baking pans/measuring spoons, a programmable coffee pot, hand mixer, blender, and toaster.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, attached bathroom (shower/tub), and walk-in closet. There is a smart TV (wi-fi enabled, but NOT hooked up to cable) and DVD player in the master bedroom.

The 2nd bedroom has two bunk beds with twin 8 inch mattresses on top and full 10 inch pillow-top mattresses on the bottom.

The loft (directly above the kitchen) has a queen bed.

Linens are provided including 500+ thread count sheets for your comfort.

The second bathroom has a tub/shower. Each bathroom has a hairdryer for your convenience, as well as bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner.

Extra towels stored in plastic storage boxes under the beds in the master bedroom and bunk room. The laundry room has a washer and drier, ironing board and iron, and three humidifiers for use in the bedrooms. Please enjoy the complimentary laundry soap! Three fans are also available.

Skis/boards can be stored in the front entryway or in the private storage unit across the landing from the front door.

Typically, two community hot tubs are available directly behind the building. PLEASE NOTE: HOT TUBS ARE CLOSED DUE TO COVID AND ARE NOT IN USE AT THIS TIME.

Plenty of free parking available!

Our condo is located two blocks from the Core Trail, a 7.5 mile paved, flat trail that runs from Mt. Werner Street to beyond downtown. Bikes are available for rent from the Ski Haus, located on the other side of the condominium complex. Our guests receive a 10% discount on bike rentals, and 15% discount on ski/board/equipment rentals. The Core Trail goes past/through several parks and picnic areas, the botanical gardens, and the Bud Werner Memorial library. (sidenote: it is perhaps the most beautiful library I have ever been in, and a godsend for families with children. They offer a guest library card that allows you to check out 8 items at a time. There is also a return box in Central Park Square in front of La Fiesta for your convenience.)

Fantastic property
Awesome property. Great location (right across from the More barn, which we did not realize) with two grocery stores and a WalMart, as well as several eateries, within walking distance. Very clean property, including the hot tub, and quick responses from the owner (although no issues). Highly recommended!

It was just as described, very comfortable and roomy with perfect access to the bus stop to access downtown or the mountain. Loved the detailed book provided as well and the hosts had great communication!

Both Paul and I grew up in Minnesota, but have lived all over the world. We love traveling together, and skiing is one of our passions. Steamboat Springs combines both of those loves in one gorgeous package.

Why they chose this property

After skiing at numerous resorts in North America and Europe, we came to Steamboat in 2012 with our two children. The snow was like nothing we had experienced elsewhere, and the family-friendly atmosphere hooked us. We started looking for property in 2013, and jumped at the chance to own at The Pines. We named it 'Uller Haus' after Uller (Ullr) the Norse god of winter, who is also rumored to be an amazing skier. We hope you love it as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

The views of the mountain from our top-floor deck are among the best in the city. And you cannot beat the location - we are steps from groceries, liquor store, pharmacy, and restaurants. Between that and having the free city bus stop at the end of the driveway, having a car is completely unnecessary. There is also plenty of parking if you do drive. With six beds, there is plenty of room for a family, or a girls' or guys' getaway. We love to cook, and have equipped our kitchen accordingly, and put a propane gas grill on the deck. Having the Core Trail two blocks away is fabulous, whether you want to go for a run, or ride bikes to the library.
